This is very much like the one that I had hand made on my trip to Vietnam in one of the villages. Unfortunately it was prized and stolen some time later back in the states but I'd been missing it for quite a while until I found this one on Amazon produced in China. This one is practically the same in quality and material (leather) and design. I really enjoy this one and now and it's a worthy replacement. Sometimes you just need a certain kind of backpack and this is the perfect one for me. You will enjoy it. But be sure to care for it as it's a durable but easily tarnished leather so if you want to keep it in mint showable condition you'll need to care for it with leather polish, etc.

Great quality and excellent design of backbag! I needed to buy a sturdy back-bag to carry my laptop, literatures, books and stationery, etc. Turns out, It completely exceeded my expectations in its design, well-organized pockets and capacity! As for water bottle pocket , it’s big enough for my 32oz Thermoflask bottle. It is so friendly for the scorching summer in Arizona… it looks exactly as pictured. Brown leather, metal buckles and artisan seamstry of the stiching…The leather itself is fairly thick and sturdy and the color with a layer of wax on top looks really fashionable and lovely. The bag is a bit heavy, but it is still very convenient to carry, and the shoulder is comfortable especially with a layer of canvas on the shoulder strap. The price is very reasonable price under its great value! I’ve begin to plan a traveing with my new bag… Also, It was packed pretty well when it arrived! It was placed in plastic and then that was inside a nice cloth bag inside the box. The leather was protected securely! Overall I’m very impressed by this bag and absolutely recommend it!

A perfect score for this backpack. It’s very well made. It’s very high quality, honestly I didn’t really expect it to be so well made for the price I paid, but it sure is. Beautiful thick, soft, durable cowhide. The stitching is very tight, evenly spaced and beefy. The inside compartment is quite large as well. I was able to fit much more that I needed on my cross country flights this month. Maybe too much stuff. I love the fact that it stands upright on it’s own without issue and it fits perfectly under an airline seat as if it were made for it. No cramming needed like with a cloth material backpack. Everything stays exactly where it should. It is also very comfortable against your back and shoulders. If I were to give a lower rating on any part of the backpack it would be the adjustable shoulder straps. Although they are comfortable and equally as durable, they do slip at the buckle. I remedied this with a small safety pin on the backside to keep the two straps from slipping through the buckle. I’d imagine this backpack will outlive me.

The reason I give this a 4 star instead of a 5 star is there is no built in organization for items such as pens memory devices or dongles. A simple small space for pens would have been enough to move this product to 5 stars. Other than that glaring oversight I find this backpack perfect. I have always gone with large Swiss Gear backpacks with plenty of storage options and compartments. I am refreshed with the simplicity and structure of this backpack. The weight is super low and the straps sit well allowing me to take my backpack everywhere instead of garbing what I need before a meeting. The first day I got it I received complement after complement. This is almost the perfect backpack for me!

It is very beautiful leather. It can fit perfectly under a airplane seat as a carry on! It is very sturdy there are no tears and nothing has happened to the stitching. The only thing that I wish was better is what you can fit in it. The laptop divider is pretty thick so you don't have much room left. Although you can still fit a lot I wish the divider wasn't as thick. Overall I love the bag and I would advise to get it.

I love its style and the amount of space it provides. I used it for almost a full year of college before it became virtual. I can fit a laptop, a folder, a notebook, and a textbook. It's not the most comfortable when it's completely loaded. However, I did not buy it for the comfort; I bought it because I no longer want the same type of backpack I used in high school and middle school.
