Hello all, Adding a lengthy review of this chair. I will update it as I receive more information in the near future... ============== I purchased this for a pre-mothers day gift almost 2 weeks ago now. Since using it daily, we've come to enjoy the chair but also regret (with each use) the features it lacks and some features it has that just don't perform well. Here are the details of the PROS and CONS. ======== PROS: ======== 1. Shipping: It arrived quickly. Faster than any product its size EVER! Just 3 days from order to delivery by Amazon truck and peeps (masked). They brought it into first floor living room. No dents nor dings on the box so I let them go. Great job Amazon delivery! 2. Unboxing: Was simple. It arrived pre-assembled in a re-enforced cardboard box. Just pull plastic tabs out and lift up the cardboard shell. Unfold the foot rest and its ready. One black power cord ~6ft. SIMPLE! 3. Materials: It is as pictured with slight color tone differences due to lighting (expected). SynthLeather of the seating area feels smooth and looks properly finished overall. Thick zipper access throughout for professional maintenance if ever needed. The base is plastic and sits on rubber feet. If you plan on sliding it, be sure to use coasters/sliders. Weight is under 200lbs so not bad. Power cord is black 3 prong. ~6ft length. 4. Design: Standard massage chairs are far from attractive so seeing this model is a stark contrast to the norm. The design of this model is very stylish and compliments any modern room. The half moon shape is good and comfortable to sit in as a massage chair (not an all day recliner here). The LED lighting is nice and soothing. It actually gives off a glow type of affect when in operation. It is always on and illuminates the outer and lower surroundings of the chair so as not bother the user at all. It gives a warm white glow. 5. Operation: You can manually guide the roller along your back, throughout the L track, which is basically from upper neck to buttocks. For example, if the setting is working your upper neck too high… you can press the auto button DOWN to have it move a tad lower on that section. Same goes for shoulders… back… and buttocks. This feature works well and works either UP or DOWN. The intensity of the neck massage is nice and that’s what we use most. The massage last about 15m before ending and turning itself off and returning to start position. 6. Customer Support: BOSSCARE was quick to reply to my email queries. ======== CONS: ======== 1. Shipping: NONE 2. Unboxing: NONE 3. Materials: Overall the SynthLeather is thin and flat in appearance. This may be a problem for pet owners because a single claw at the finish may puncture it! Do not leave near animals unattended (cats or dogs may ruin this!). Speakers look cheap alongside this chair. Typical plastic with silver paint. It does not help anything you really want from such a device. USER NOTE: We use Alexa Echo nearby to play nice sounds during massage. “Alexa, play ocean sounds” Controller is made of the same painted silver plastic. The button icons are NOT engraved so expect them to fade with use. Controller is not illuminated so finding buttons under dim light (dark room massage) conditions can be tricky. USER NOTE: We bought i2 Gear USB flexible reading lamp to help with this. Works great! 4. Design Components: It is a bit SMALL. The guide says 5ft 9in max height and its pretty spot on. Any taller and you will be self adjusting a lot. On the shorter end, we had 5ft 2in adult on this and it was fine. 5. Operation: ((((This is the SIGH of the moment for ALL the users in the house))) ======== The instruction manual gives NO CLEAR INDICATION of what the START UP beeps mean. When you plug in the chair and switch it on, it goes through a start up process. Here it is and it takes a minute or so… ======== A > Chair pre-adjustments B > Loud beep from the chair bluetooth speakers. C > 5 smaller beeps from the controller D > Now the chair is ready to accept your desired settings. USER NOTE: You must completely disconnect power after each use, otherwise the controller will not accept ALL button pushes next time. We use a power strip with toggle switch to switch off ALL power to the chair after every use. ======== The instruction manual gives NO CLEAR INDICATION of what the CONTROLLER beeps mean. When the chair is ready to accept a setting, you click the necessary function button on the controller. This works, however... ======== A > INTENSITY (III): has 3 settings that adjust the AIRBAGS, but you will not know which setting you are in cause there is no indication of this. Email from seller: Basically states that the setting here starts at INTENSITY 2. So one press takes it to 3, another press to 1, then another back to 2 and that is one cycle. Be sure not to press too fast. Each press only responds the same beep so you need to know how many times you pressed. B > PARTIAL CARE: This advertises “FOCUSED” areas… ie pick one (NECK&SHOULDER, WAIST&BACK or SLIM = BUTTOCKS area). Unfortunately, during any one of the area massages, the calf and hip air bags will engage. If you want a NECK&SHOULDER ONLY massage, expect the airbags to inflate around your hips and calfs during the session as well. When asked seller specifically if airbags can be turned off? SELLER NOTE: The airbag cannot be turned off.. C > LOWER BACK MASSAGE HURTS: In ANY setting that touches the mid/lower back, it can be a bit uncomfortable because the massager tends to hit thinner tissue areas of that part of the body. You can’t avoid except to arch your back away. I see no intensity setting for any area except the airbags per the user manual. USER NOTE: Our workaround is to use a lower back foam pillow to allow the massager to dig into it instead. D > GENERAL AIR BAG discomfort: Since airbags are ALWAYS ON, the user must endure them or lift up away from them to avoid the compression they deliver. This is awkward and may be a deal breaker for many. USER NOTE: We applied a soft cover around the foot rest so as to cradle the calf above the compression of the air bags. This works ok and doesn’t obstruct anything (air hose or roller). Remove when ok to use the airbags. The chair does have heat option. It works but the heat isn’t very intense. ======== SUMMARY: ======== Despite all of the above, my wife (daily user) still wants to keep the chair. She does love massages and grew up with one so. I am ok with this as well since the chair will be away from everything else (should extend its life). Chair sits in a separate room and is used only with white robe over cloths to save from staining the light grey finish and delicate SynthLeather. Thanks for reading and have a good day. ... show more

I love this massage chair! The massage starts at your neck and works all the way to your calves in a slow thorough relaxing treatment. It targets everywhere tension and stress settles and forms painful lumps in your muscles. 30 minutes later the relief is a welcome relief. One night I was unable to sleep and so restless I finally gave up and headed for my massage chair! After 30 minutes I went to bed and promptly fell asleep. The chair is small. I am 5'6 and the bend hits the back of my mid thigh in an uncomfortable way. The chair does not do zero g as in it doesn't recline much. It doesn't do feet and my feet hangoff awkwardly due to the seat hitting the back of thigh where it does. Remember if you buy this you can't return it! The programming is very good in that it feels more like a human doing the routine than the average machine. I would pay $600 tops for this but more comfortable around $550. If I could turn back time I would not have ordered it. ... show more

I love this chair! It is sleek and does not take up much space. I have a smaller room and it fit perfectly where I wanted it. I also liked that you did not have to put it together. To add, it was 5 percent off! The different massages available are amazing. The zero gravity really gives you a complete experience. I was a little skeptical about getting it due to the listed weight capacity but I weigh about 200 and it works just fine. I love getting in the chair after I work in the yard. It was well worth it. This chair is the best. I'm so glad I got it. Easy to set up the instructions are easy to follow. I have tried every setting and for anyone that may get motion sickness skip the swing setting. It is a low setting motion and barely noticeable but I did not feel well later. Other than that I love this chair. Great value for the money and I will be using it every day after work. I love purple so it was easy for me to go with the white and purple 💜. ... show more

It is too small for people larger than my average frame. But it works perfect for my Japanese wife. It works well for me as well. UPDATE: wish there was a way to turn off startup noises. Strength of pressure might be too much for some sensitive to pressure on their back. My wife complains that is almost strong enough. We love it. No assembly. Arrived. De-boxed it. Plugged it in.
