First and foremost... unless it's absolutely necessary that you have a brand new computer, this particular machine was labeled as a 'Premium' Renewed computer! And if they hadn't already let that be known when shopping for one, you would never believe that it wasn't brand new...! Perfectly packaged, sealed and wrapped. Now on to the fact that it works like a dream and though I haven't done much more than setting it up and checking out a couple apps, this laptop really ran very smoothly and even just the feel of the keyboard and how the keys work so effortlessly. Personally, the last MacBook Pro that I bought was a mid-late 2012....! And I've actually been using two of them up until now and it feels like it has been a century, but as of this moment the Renewed in Premium condition and it's only a two year old computer and with Macs you can receive OS updates for a long time, you don't get 2-3 years of free updates and then have to start paying for them! I use my computer moderately for Audio/Video apps and of course I do the everyday BS of banking, paying bills, looking at emails, and probably spending money buying something off some site, most likely the site you're reading this on! Lol. But I will say it again... UNLESS IT IS ABSOLUTELY A DYER SITUATION..., I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING ONE OF THESE USED RENEWED MACBOOKS..!! It came with all the correct charging devices and a 2" x 3" 4-5 page fold-out that I have absolutely NO IDEA what it says because EVERY SINGLE WORD is in Chinese, so far all I know is that it was telling me that once I turn on the computer, everything on it belongs to them...!!!? 😉🙄 It's Very Annoying that there wasn't a little booklet in English because it looked like there may have been some important information on it...??? So that's just a pet peeve of mine because I like knowing as much as I can about my work equipment. I'll have to look online for the manual! And I'm used to my laptop having USB ports, SD slot & even a CD/DVD Player//Burner and this thing came with only 2 USB-c ports on the left side and what looks like a 3.5mm jack on the right side...?? I guess things changed quite a bit in ten years...!? 😎. But I will definitely check back in if there turns out to be any sort of issues that don't get resolved and I've been a Prime member for quite a while and I've never had any problems with getting items replaced and/or refunded and besides the 30 days you have to return the item if not satisfied, but these MacBooks also come with all least a one warranty, BUT I think it may even be 2 years on the warranty, which is a pretty fair deal because when you buy a new one, after 1 year you have to buy Apple Care if you want to extend your warranty for 3 years, so getting 2 years with the purchase is pretty cool! A huge upgrade from her cheap handmedown HP laptop. She says it performs great, the little touch screen works, she uses an external port and that works fine with the laptop. Basically brand new. Still had the plastic wrapping around the box. The product itself was shipped nice and secure in proper packaging. The computer itself is great. I’m a realtor and have multiple tabs running, I was having a bit of lag when I first started running it and upgraded to the newest OS and ran much smoother so if you run into that when you first start using it try that. Hardware wise it’s definitely decent for most stuff. If you do a lot of video editing and have heavy programs running you will want to upgrade and get one with an 16gb ram and better processor. I went from Macbook Pro 2011 (early) to this Macbook Pro 2022 with the M2 chip. WOW is all I have to say!!! Very fast! I am was able to use the blue tooth to import the files I did need. I had no idea how much time I was loosing on the older system waiting for it to catch up with me. This new computer is making a huge difference in my work. I have an HP laptop that was the top-of-the-line when I bought it 10 years ago. It was definitely time to buy a new laptop since everything else I have is Apple phone, iPad, AirPods decided just to do an Apple MacBook. It arrived in perfect condition looks brand new. We had a problem with it at first setting up thought I was going to have to send it back but it ended up being an Internet connection that kept having an issue once we figured that out setting up the MacBook there’s no problem. My only issue with Apple I wish they’d give a manual not everybody knows all of this off the top of their head . ... show more
