When I unboxed the amp, the electronics were dislodged from the amp. As you can see in the picture. I took 4 screws off the back, and I was able to replace the dislodged part of the electronics above the speaker. After replacing the back, i turned it on; it does work okay. A pretty good amp fidelity wise in this package. It could easily be used as a practice amp for a beginner. The bass and treble controls work okay; you can tell the difference from low to high. The gain is not bad on this little amp.

Video coming soon (I am going to show you how this thing sounds naturally, how it can be used as a TOOL in music production, and how to make it sound even better in a DAW!) I had a friend of mine play for over an hour while I dialed in tones on this thing. I didn't record it because I want to do my own thing, but between the guitar's tone knobs/pickup positions and the knobs on the amp, you can get some really cool tones out of this thing both clean and distorted!!! A lot of people don't play with different pickup positions and tone knobs in tandem with the EQ functions on another device, and they are missing out on some really cool things. First of all, yes, it IS a bit Lo-fi. But it honestly sounds awesome! Many people might think otherwise, but I see this as an element for production! Plus, I can mic just about anything and make it sound great in Logic Pro. I think you'll be surprised to hear what all something like this can be used for! For a child starting out, this is a super affordable option. For a gear nerd like me, this is a super awesome affordable tool. Would I use it as my OWN practice amp as a guitar player? No. I've been playing guitar for longer than I'd care to say. I know what I want to sound like when I practice, and I don't really compromise on that at this point in my life. But as a producer, this thing is GOLD. Think about toy pianos and the like. Affordable things that can be used in different ways for different people. I think it's awesome!
