Fairly easy to install, brackets had to be forced over the larger roll bar but at no fault of the manufacturer. The light is awesome in an older rig where they didn’t exist. Sound is good and is plenty loud, just lacks bass. May get the additional 8” sub to rectify this need. I run it straight from my phone with no need for a head unit. The remote control that comes with the unit must be wired for it to work, this is my finding anyway. We got the 14" model for our Polaris RZR after putting one of the longer models in our caged Jeep Cherokee. The built-in dome light is priceless for night rides, and the sound quality is great, no matter which size you get. Of course, volume gets a bit higher with the longer models, but that's to be expected. We had no issues hearing the 14" in our RZR (factory exhaust) while cruising the trails at higher speeds. Installation is about as simple as it gets and the remote control console offers a variety of mounting options. Highly recommended and will definitely buy more for any other off-road vehicles we get! ... show more

Bought this in May of 2019. Installed it in our Honda Talon in June of 2019. Initially we loved it. Good sound, good amount of power, we were able to hear it fine even at brisk trail speeds. Controls and connectivity are great too. 5 star product........ EXCEPT fast forward to June 2020 we have used it 12-15times. All of sudden it only gets half as loud and the sound quality is greatly diminished. Of course it’s out of warranty. This should not be a disposable product after a dozen uses. ONE STAR. Very disappointed I would not recommend this or any Boss Audio product if that is all the longer they last. ... show more

I put in my XP1000 and it worked out great and sounds good. I tried a 27" one and it would not fit between the roll bars. Much happier with the install and quality of this one

    • Don’t buy another one,remote is a piece of crap.

I’m happy with the sound,but I powered it off and it never came back on. I used it on my ATV for two rides no water or mud just cruising around,got back powered it off. Never worked again and guess what?no return after 30-days and I’m 9-days over But only took it out twice.

Amazing system I have the 27in and it runs flawless. Great sound it's out doing 600 dollar systems on the trail. Completely water proof. It's been soaked in water and mud with out affecting it at all. Just wash it off with the hose when done. Quality is great as well as the remote. Being able to change the settings with out looking at your phone is nice. Also the dome light is super bright and a great idea for reading trail maps at night. ... show more

The control box only works part time so I had to always leave it on and use ignition switch to keep it working. Speaker had to be sent in for repair prior to being installed. Thought it would be better.

This thing is awesome, love that it has the universal roll bar mounts made it pretty easy to install, sounds great and very rugged too. The remote is very nice and convenient. Would definitely buy this again, just needed to purchase a little toggle switch with it and got it all hooked up. Installed on a 2014 Polaris Ranger 900xp Crew. ... show more
