I installed this set of speakers on my uncle's 2004 Trailblazer. At the time he only had one working factory paper cone speaker and it was barely holding on. Installation was routine. Although these speakers aren't the best sounding and lack low bass, they seem to be much better than factory quality. My uncle can crank up his blues music and there's no distortion that I observed. Make sure to check the kind of speakers you need I bought these for my 2000 ford ranger thinking they fit but I did some more research and they weren't right but they were already shipped so I had to return after they arrived
