This product is good but there are two very distinct designs here and it might benefit from being two listings. Some of the colors are a much more padded design, effective but bulky. Some of the colors are very lightly padded and customers might opt for more protection.

My little girl just learned how to ride a bike. Without these pads it would have been much harder to get her to “get back on the horse” as it were. The plastic guards are pretty scratched up now. The Velcro seems to have good hold and doesn’t wear out too fast. We’ve been using this for about a month and the Velcro is still fresh and strong. I do recommend these pads for your little ones. They seem to have good padding inside, strong Velcro, and the plastic is thick and durable. Saved her hands and knees more than a few times.

These fit my 6 year old great. She needed something for when she rides her hooverboard because the first day she took a tumble. She had on a helmet but no pads so she scraped up her elbow pretty good. She is tall and skinny and these strap around her knees and elbows snug and comfortably. The wrist guards are a plus especially with the hovervoard because she tend to fall backwards, catching herself with her hands. I do like that they come in a drawstring bag too so we always know where they are. Her last pet didn't have the bag and we were constantly searching for a missing pad. These hang in the garage in the bag and we always know where to pit them away. Very happy.

I bought these mistakenly thinking they would fit me because they are advertised for 6-15 year olds and I'm pretty much the same size as I was at 15. I'm on the small side for an adult and the size is adjustable so I was hoping they'd work. However, it was clear that they were made for little kids and would be too tight for me. I can still wear them but it's just slightly uncomfortable and I'm worried they won't give me enough protection. As for the quality of the product itself, I'd say that depending on what you are doing you'd probably want more protective wrist guards than the ones in this package (they cover the inside of your wrist but not the outside). Overall, probably fine for your kid to ride a scooter around the skate park but would not recommend for adults/bigger kids or for more dangerous activities.
