Frankly nearly all built-in TV speakers are awful. I was looking for an inexpensive way to bump up the bass response on the music videos I watch. I was surprised to find a Bose soundbar at such a reasonable price. The bass is great and I adjusted the TV audio outputs to give me the high ends I liked. Very happy with my new Bose purchase.

I have been a serious Bose fan, since the 1980's. And, I truly respect the brand. Their engineering and designs...what they do with sound and audio is unmatched. In my opinion. In the past, I have also purchased electronics, that were factory re-conditioned. So far, they have been as good as new. Therefore, no concern, regarding purchasing this soundbar. Just a statement of fact - all of the TVs have excelled at picture quality, but disappointed in audio quality. An emergence of a new product called a "soundbar". That's what I wanted/needed! Too often, I would miss exactly what was being said. Sometimes, that would be significant, to the extent that I was often lost in the story...? Bottom line - this soundbar is a replacement for what we might have hoped for, from the TV's internal speakers. It has the "Dialogue" boost, to enhance the frequency range of the human voice. Exactly what I needed. A "Bass" boost that may or may not matter to you. And, enough audio power to make it loud enough...in an ordinary living room. In addition, it comes with a fiber optic link (cleanest medium to transfer the audio signal) to connect to your TV. For the price, exactly what I wanted. And, I'm completely happy with my purchase. Right or wrong, I did have the impression that the soundbar creates a "surround sound" effect. That is not the case. As far as I can detect. Bose certainly has an assortment of higher-end, and more expensive choices that would deliver that "home theater" experience. This soundbar is perfectly suited for what it is - somewhere in between...

I love how amazing this sounds paired with my TV. I’m a little disappointed that I chose my bedroom TV for this because I have an expensive LG soundbar in my living room that doesn’t sound nearly as good as this. It has the perfect amount of bass that it brings movies to life. The cost of this is well worth it

The media could not be loaded. This is the easiest device I have set up in years. Truly plug and play. The Bose sound is so superior to the tiny thin sound of the original TV speakers. I am hard of hearing and the dialogue feature makes a noticeable difference in clarity of speech. The Bluetooth feature is also quite impressive. I love the fact that the instructions are on two pages with pictures. Great value.
