  • Worth it.
Color: Black
These headphones are excellent. I’ve been using AirPods for years, so the extra weight will take a little getting used to—but the sound quality and noise cancellation more than make up for it. They completely block out background noise and deliver a much richer, fuller sound than any other over the ear headphones else I’ve tried. Definitely worth it! ... show more

  • Best headphones in the market!
Color: Black
Amazing comfort and great noise cancellation- can wear them for hours. Microphone is stellar for calls. Compared to Sony XM6 they put less pressure on my head. Bose is back in the game!

  • great headphones! but pricey
Color: White
and now we arrive at bose’s anticipated second-generation renewal of their qcu lineup. i hope they at least renew the quietcomfort headphones at some point since they’re far more affordable and have apparent value. starting at well over $400, the quietcomfort ultras are highly premium headphones now built with *some* metal. not the whole thing, but the headbands are cushioned metal. — build quality very good. they’re steps ahead of the previous generation aesthetically, even though both look virtually the same. still some plastic, but it keeps the headphones light. — sound quality i’m impressed! these headphones sound ahead of even apple’s latest airpods pro 3’s, and that’s not a light feature to crack. soundstage is incredible..*without* their immersive feature on. with their immersive feature enabled, it just sounds like a generic surround sound feature on cheaper headphones. it’s there if you want to use it, but it doesn’t really do anything except make it sound much roomier, which isn’t really a good thing. on the bright side, immersive mode doesn’t significantly degrade bass response. — battery life again, very impressive. they’re no jbl tours (that monster of a headphone boasts 40-60 hours of battery life), but you can easily take these on a roadtrip or aeroplane flight and breeze right through. (charging not tested yet.) — noise cancellation / awareness passive noise isolation (noise control without the actually turning the headphones on) is already very good, so it isn’t surprising that the anc is also excellent. *however,* i am a bit let down by it — it’s great, but i feel like even apple might catch up to them eventually. for now, when bose looks behind them, all they see are blurry figures, but apple’s airpods are creeping up on them, ever so slightly. awareness is a little below airpods max (as it’s still not as loud as i’d like; it muddies some sounds slightly, but casual users likely won’t notice it), but there’s a LOT of improvement. i’m glad that bose is getting better with awareness modes. — controls my only big gripe with these are their controls. they are extremely finicky, and if you aren’t used to them, they’re just awkward to try to figure out and moderately functional at best. for starters, the volume bar is swipe-based, but since it’s so narrow and you’re actively trying to locate it, it’s just difficult. i prefer physical controls as they’re far easier to locate and use. these are just awkward, and they’ll definitely need some time to adjust to. — value debatable. the sound quality speaks for itself, but for the anc and battery life, i’d like to see these at least $100 lower than their current tag. it does suffer from the lack of integration with any phone at all since bose isn’t a phone company and apple is so engrossed with their own airpods lineup, but their app works quite well and can customise your listening experience. still disappointed with the lack of features and the inability to control the volumes of voice prompts. apple has a “tone volume” feature that allows you to adjust how loud the system messages (e.g., low battery alerts) are for airpods, but these lack any of that. i believe jbl also offers something similar with their app, too, so this is a saddening fall-behind in the headphones competition. ... show more

  • Well Balanced Package
Color: Desert Gold
Bose QC 2 Maaaaannnn I Love Mine FR!!!! The Experience is wonderful! I tested both XM6 out at My Local Best Buy. QC2 was Much More Comfortable, The ANC was about the same, Sound Quality is Super Good with Customizing & Standard. The Various Mode abilities are sweet too!!! Headphone Activated is a nice quick reliable feature as well!! Think about the EQ vs XM6 all of those settings are not going to be used once you lock in on your listening preference!! The EQ sound quality is again awesome!!! Bose Did a great Job!! ... show more

  • Slightly better the QC Ultra Gen 1. More expensive, better than SONY WH-1000xm6 or Apple.
Color: Black
All the hype and expectation before the release in the USA. Yes! There are some minor improvements with Ultra Gen 2. If you have Ultra Gen 1, you do not need to upgrade. QC Ultra Gen 1 MSRP $429 USD vs QC Ultra Gen 2 MSRP $449 USD. Save your $$. Two nice improvements in Gen 2, USB-C connection allows both Listening and Charging at same time. Laying down the Headphones puts it in Sleep Mode and decreases battery drainage in case you forget to turn them off. No changes in Audio or ANC. No IP rating, meaning keep them dry. ... show more

  • Bad controls, no passive audio, mediocre sound
Color: Black
Aside from how terrible the controls are (and they're very, very bad), the lack of passive audio makes these worthless to me. Previous versions could be plugged in and used without turning the headphones on, which was a great feature thatI sorely miss. I could use them as my regular desktop computer headphones without ever having to charge them, and then go use them wirelessly as needed. I really hate that Bose deprecated their own product for no reason. Returning these was a no-brainer. ... show more

  • Why remove buttons? Stick to the prior model
Color: Black
The sound is amazing, the fit is ok but the controls are trash! They have made it so confusing and annoying to try to use the controls. They removed buttons and now have only two buttons to do everything. The old headphones were much more user friendly and just overall more usable. Good luck trying to play a track after pausing or to try to turn the headphones on or off. I recommend sticking with the older model because the sound didn't change much and it was much more versatile/easy to use. ... show more
