Bought this amp to use with our new home’s ceiling speakers. We had to have them installed professionally, but this had more to do with our own wiring rather than with the speakers. For someone who knows what they are doing, the install seems super easy. The Bose app that is used with this app is super easy to install and use. We absolutely love having this is amp in our home.     • DO NOT BUY THIS AMP! SOFTWARE UPDATE BRICKED IT!
I had two of these amps on my network and had planned to purchase more. A software update forced me to log back into my account on the app, presumably to agree to their updated Terms and Conditions, which is ridiculous on its face since I already purchased and paid for the product long ago. Upon logging back in one of my amps which I had been using regularly was no longer linked and was not found by the app. It was basically bricked and went brain dead once I pressed the reset button according to the troubleshooting instructions. Basically this is a "rent-an-amp" and you are constantly at the mercy of Bose through their app to continue using products you already paid for. I will never purchase another Bose product based on this experience. This is totally unacceptable. ... show more

I’ve owned this Bose amp for a couple of years and it is fantastic. Works my Polk Audio speakers exceptionally well. Worth purchasing and doesn’t take up much space either.

    • Great Replacement for the older SA-5, uses the "Bose Music" App
I have an outdoor system using the Bose outdoor speakers. Inside I have the Bose 700 Soundbar and Bass Module. The problem was that the older SA-5 Sound Module used an older app and I could not "pair" the speakers. This new version uses the same "Bose Music" app as the soundbar, so now I can "pair" them together. The speaker connector was even the same, so the replacement was very fast. The new module is slightly smaller too, making it easier to mount. ... show more
