Excellent, good as new.
Style: Speed Palm Router with Edge Guide
An excellent product, typical of Bosch tools. It is lightweight and easy to handle. It has enough power to rout hardwoods. Nice size for musical instrument work. This one is "renewed" and it is as good as new at a low price. Came with a good case and an edge guide.

Wow, simple, compact and amazing.
Style: Speed Palm Router with Edge Guide
I've picked up a couple of Bosch (new or renewed) items without any issues, all good as new. I suffered with a Skil plunge router for a couple decades, the Skil router twisted every time it was powered up. I finally ditched the Skil with our recent house move. This Bosch router is silky smooth when powered up, like why did I not replace the Skil years ago? I recently picked up a Ridgid circular saw as my old Porter Cable was having a challenging existence from occasional use sawing stucco and concrete with a diamond blade. The main bearing on the Ridgid seized on the third cross cut of a pine 2x6, I was shocked and returned the Ridgid circular saw to the store, Ridgid used to be a great name this made me sad. Years ago I had picked up a Makita hammer drill years ago only for it to die drilling a first hole for a few foundation bolt. I got my introduction to Bosch when I bought a Bosch hammer drill which worked like a knife through butter on the concrete. I'll stick with Bosch for my electric hand tool needs.

Easy to use. Easier to control.
Style: Speed Palm Router with Edge Guide
I really like working with this router. I have the large Bosch router as well (1617evs(?)) and prefer the ease of use of the smaller one. I use it a lot as I am making speakers for the family. Lots of circular holes to cut lol

Great tool even better seller.
Style: Speed Palm Router with Edge Guide
This review is both of the tool (its great I highly recommend it) and more importantly about the company. I always rate a company based on their ability to either get it right the first time or go out of their way if there is an issue. I have a very minor issue with the order and received fantastic service from this company. I will 100% buy from them again and was very impressed.

Nice Compact Router
Style: Speed Palm Router with Edge Guide
I used this router for carving wooden signs. After installing a larger plexiglass base plate, it worked very nicely. The adjustable speed worked very well, also. I bought the refurbished model because of the price. Unfortunately, the main bearing started making a grinding noise when under a load so I returned it.

Watch your fingers
Style: Speed Palm Router with Edge Guide
Oh, very good router, but yeah, it does not have a guard in the front. Your fingers, can get caught if you aren't paying attention On the other side, it's a d*** good router. Comfortable, in your hand a little bit of power
