Description

Pretty good MTB shorts. The fit is spot on. Material is lighter but not as rugged as other MTB shorts. They are almost like a long pair of “Under Armor” or Nike running shorts. The material may be a little bit different but that’s just my best comparison in regards to weight and thickness. I did put a little hole in them after a crash. I like the way they look but I will say the zippers on the pockets tend to snag on the shorts when trying to zip them up. You need both hands to zip them up without snagging. There is an internal tightening mechanism but doesn’t always stay cinched. They tend loosen up while riding sometimes. I’ve had to unbutton and pull my shorts down a little to reach it and adjust it while on the trail before. These are just minor gripes. Overall I like them and would possibly even buy another pair at some point. ... show more

Purchased these shorts several months ago and have already been "over the bars" in them. They held up remarkably well (wish I was so lucky)! These shorts fit well, size is right on, they are very sturdy and you hardly notice you have them on. At first I thought they were a bit on the pricey side, but you <generally> get what you pay for and I can see these MTB shorts lasting a good, long time. Highly recommend them and while your at it check out their (POC) MTB helmets, they are super nice as well! ... show more

    • Pocket location !!! Why?!!!

Why did POC put the only two pockets in the standard waist area?! When you put your phone in your pocket, or any items, they gouge into your pelvis area when pedaling. Most MTB short change the location of the pockets for this reason. Poc has other MTB shorts with the pockets on the legs. I don't know why they put them on the waist for these. My son loves these pants but one of the zippers is faulty. On day 1, he opened the front pocket all the way and the zipper came off track, and even when put back it opens randomly. He lost his wallet today. Great looking pants and perfect fit for a skinny kid (they come in extra small), but I'll need to return them for that zipper problem... I'd sew it shut but they are TOO EXPENSIVE to be mickey-mousing like that. ... show more

These are definitely my favorite shorts. Use for mountain/gravel/commuting/bikepacking. I am 6'8, 215 and wear XXL. Slim fit, not baggy.
