Disc brake pads did not disappoint. They came with new hardware that fit very snug so no rattles. Came with the tube of Grease to put on the hardware and edges of brake pads so they would slide without squealing. I always spray blue disc break quiet on the back of pads so I never have any squeals. Brakes are quiet leave no brake dust I rate them as good as OEM if not better the price was better than anywhere else I shopped around. Only took 15 minutes each side to install. ... show more

Just installed on my wife’s Matrix. Pads fit perfect. Even came with brake pad grease and shop rag. Also installed new Bosch Quite rotors. Working fine so far.

    • A Rare Miss for Amazon
Rarely am I not happy with a product from Amazon, but these brake shoes are an exception. First, the box had been opened before, and the pads were unsealed. They came wrapped in a great shop towel and were in good shape, so I used them anyway. So, one star lost. The bigger problem was the hardware that came with the pads. These little cheap pieces of stamped metal (I've seen them called brake locator clips or anti-rattle clips) need to be replaced with every new set of pads. The ones that came with these Bosh pads were not stainless and did not want to clip on without some hammer time. Then came the hard part - getting the ears of the pads to slide into the clips. As the shape of the clips was sloppy, it took several tries to wedge the ears in and clear the edge of the clip. Then, once everything was in place, the clips had to be "adjusted" to avoid contacting the rotor. Had I known this was going to be an issue, I would have bought a good set of clips, but I was in too deep by the time I found out. Really Bosh, save money somewhere else.
