This Bosch alternator is pretty first of all. Very nice metal color and stands out in the engine. The price is amazing considering the brand. My local auto parts stores want over 200 dollars for some off brand store alternators. So this was a no brainer. Also installation is super easy. Just borrow a belt tool thing from o'reilly's and some common garage tools gets the job done in less than 30 minutes. ... show more

After fully charging the battery the voltage output was too low. It also arrived with the plastic rear bearing cover broken. Had to return it. This was the last one they had in stock so I had to purchase one elsewhere.

So I got this a little over a year ago ridiculously overpriced I paid I believe $236 for this. Now it's screeching and whining and smelling like burnt rubber and I'm going to have to spend money again thanks a lot for nothing.
