I have an assortment of Bosch 12v tools. I have become an advocate due to their light weight, comfortable grip and durability. My only complaint with this set is no clutch on the impact tool, all my older impact tools have two speeds as well as a variable speed trigger and a torque clutch.

    • Good set for using inside the house.
Needed a lighter set for use inside the house and for the wife. I have the 18V version out in the shop and have been so satisfied with the performance, got this smaller version. So far the battery life has been great and the weight is good as well. Torque isn't as powerful but I didn't expect it to be. Only drawback is the carrying case. If you do buy this, take a picture of how they are positioned. I didn't and can't get everything back in correctly. I contacted customer support to get a picture, but they didn't have one. ... show more

    • A fantastic compliment to the 18v tools!
The 12v series is awesome! Definitely fitting for smaller sized projects or weekend warriors. It is a great compliment to the 18v tools and because of the compact size, it really comes in handy in tight spaces. Very well built and the same great quality you'd expect from Bosch.

    • Great kit
Some people are saying that there's a slight delay when using the impact. Because there is at times But I believe this is a consequence of the driver "waking up" because it goes away rather quickly. But other then that amazing little kit. It's a bit different set up than if you buy it from most of the box stores. It's got a lighter duty bag from here and there's a good chance a battery lable will be damaged. But it's a sticker ...... So peel it off and move on with your life. Great for on the go maintenance work. Our drives my Ryobi 18v drill n driver set. The only real annoyance I had wasn't really anyone's fault but they went on sale like 2 weeks after I got them . So that's kind of a bummer. But other than that I can't complain..... Ps. Tighten the drill chick by hand not with the trigger. ... show more

Unless you are driving bigger items that require lots of torque then these 12v tools from Bosch are the ticket. The convenience, reliability, and light weight compared to 18v items is hard to beat. I own a variety at least 7 of these 12v Bosch drivers in two workshops and have never been disappointed. ... show more
