Just recieved this and am super excited! I was a little hesitant due to reviews that state the stairs dont attach to the extra large tub, but having 2 large standard poodles decided to give it a try anyhow. SO GLAD I DID!! The tub was easy to put together, and is very sturdy and stable. One of my dogs is a bit nervous/hesitant to try things, so was curious to see how it would go. As you can see in the attached photos, it went very well!! I put a few treats in the back of the tub, hoping to “ entice” my boys up the stairs, however they surprized me by actually jumping up over the side and straight into the tub 🫢😮. Getting down the stairs took a little bit of coaxing, but within minutes they are both pros at it! The stairs do not attach, which is unfortunate, and really could have been an easy fix for the company to do, but they do sit on the edge pretty sturdily. The only problem I see at this point, is keeping my dogs OUT of it 😂 as I sit here typing this they have both jumped back in and are standing looking at me lol I guess its the dog equivalant to a kids little tikes toy?! This will be such a huge help to me in bathing and grooming these two , I can already tell it will be a total “ back saver” for me!! ... show more

Thus tub was easy to set up and my dog,a 45 pound Golden Retriever Australian Shepherd mix loves it. The dog is young and never had a bath before. The first few times I put in the tub and just brushed it and gave it some snacks. He now loves the tub and doesn't mind a bath. The drain hose kept coming out of the fitting but two 1/8" pop rivets fix that no problem. It looks to me like they used PVC conduit fittings and some hose to create the drain hose. The manufacturer could have done better here. I also have the steps and they don't lock in at the XL tub. This has NOT been a problem as the rubber feet keep the steps stable enough for my super hyper dog to jump in and out. Next challenge will be my 100+ pound Great Pyrenees who is afraid of everything she doesn't know. We will see how that goes. Giving it 4 stars because of the hose issue. Otherwise it would have been a solid 5 star item. BTW the cat loves to hangout in it to:) ... show more

Product is super sturdy, dependable and good quality. Easy to put together. The tray is nice to be able to put thing at hand reach and the hose thing to wash them is ok. The stairs do not attach to lock in but rest on the top, so you need to hold the stairs when getting the animal to walk up which is a pain but not terrible. Item is at the right height which makes it so much more convenient and less painful when washing the animals. The secure collar is great, helps the animal to stay put, dogs do not appear to mind. For their first bath in this tub, 3 out of the 4 dogs didn't give me too many problems, once in and hooked up, bath time wasn't that bad after all. The big dogs didn't want to use the steps, so they finally got the hint to jump on in. The built in harness worked out very well, as did the spray nozzle. So easy to regulate the water pressure for them. After a couple more baths, the tub will pay for itself, compared to taking them to a groomer for baths. ... show more

My husband and I are in our 60's and have 2 dogs that love to jump in the pond for a swim. So, we frequently have to bathe them in the summer or they smell bad. This doggie tub has been a blessing and a real back saver. We no longer have to bend over in our tub or shower to scrub them. They are latched in this tub which stands at waist level. They can walk up the stairs on their own and don't have to be lifted in or out. Love it. It rinses out easily and we just tip it upside down to dry. Built in drain and hose keeps the water flowing out away from the tub and the handy shower head attaches to our outside hose. And, it has a handy shampoo holder attached to the side.     • Convenient Alternative to Indoor Bathtub
Our dog is a 90 lbs. Giant Schnauzer, I’m not sure there is any bathing solution that would be perfect. This is a good alternative to bathing in the house or outside on the ground. It is made of sturdy plastic but the legs can be a bit wobbly if not in the right position. The ladder does not attach, rather is leans against the back and will typically stay put if it’s placed in the right spot. It saves your back by getting your dog off the ground, the sprayer that attaches to your garden hose is definitely a time safer and works well, and the drain hose is helpful for cold days when you want to bathe in your garage and have it drain outdoors. I would recommend this purchase, only drawback is that is is big and you will still need to find storage for it. ... show more

It helps so much with cleans up and makes my back not hurt. Only advice is not hook up a super long hose so it won't kink so much but great quality!

Great idea, but they added in the steps, and they don't connect with the tub. I have a large St Bernard, Great Pyrenees mix, and she is pretty heavy. I was hoping that the stairs would help with getting her into the tub, but they don't actually work with this tub. I don't know why they would sell something that isn't designed to work with. The tub itself is great, very easy to bath my dogs, and my wife and I can do it pretty quickly. Much easier on my back versus leaning over the tub. ... show more
