Since getting them we got smart bulbs just like the ones that came with it (which were bright and warm in tone) just to.make it easier to turn them on and off because they come with floor pads for stopping on to turn on and off but I have th.behind the couch. The fixture itself is great. Seems very well made and sturdy. The on/off switch is half way down the cord which is annoying for plugging in behind a couch. I wish it were closer to the base. The bulb is insanely bright. It’s too low in the room for how bright it is. I ordered what I hope will be a less bright bulb to see if that will make this work otherwise, it will have to go back. ... show more
