The media could not be loaded. We used this for our duck (the dog house was placed inside a secure pen, hardware cloth on top, sides, and bottom). It worked great. Bubbles seemed to like using it (felt secure and safe). With the full side removable, it was super easy to scoop out old poop and put in new bedding. We left the front door off. This is the perfect size for my two Saxony ducks! It's also convenient because when I want to change out their pine shaving bedding I just opened that sidewall. It does seem pretty sturdy, though I added a big rock as an anchor to the inside as another customer suggested to weigh it down some. We've had rain and it seems to be waterproof. If you're thinking about using this for a couple of bigger ducks or maybe three or four smaller ducks I would recommend it. ... show more

I know this product is mostly marketed for dog owners but the plastic material is easiest to clean and the locking door on the front keeps my ducks safe at night. Great purchase because its hard to find proper housing for poultry (especially ducks) that isn't made out of cheap flimsy wood that rots after is gets wet repeatedly. ... show more

I bought this for my 3 runner ducks. I modified the front door with hardware cloth and it's taped shut but I open the end to let them in and out each day. They are safe, it's easy to clean!

Makes a great duck house for my four ducks. If you have many more than that you may want something bigger. I think 6 would be the absolute max.
