The Bonnlo mini cart works great! I have used it about 5-6 times on bumpy grassy / rocky terrain and on smooth paved paths. I have had no issues using the one strap provided with the cart. I have two different kayaks I use it on, a Future Beach Trophy 120 and a Perception Hi Life 11.0 Both kayaks have different shaped bottoms but there is no issue. Sometimes the yaks may lean to one side a but when its positioned correctly that doesn't happen. When strapping the cart down make sure to loop the strap around the front facing bar from where you are pulling the yak, do not strap from the back bar. position the cart straight and evenly under the yak and strap it down tight!! Adding an additional strap to the back bar would definitely help but I don't find it necessary. The only thing I would say I do not like is the middle strap fixed to the cart does not allow the cart to fully lock into place. I have had no issues but I would not recommend trying to alter the strap by any means. I feel over time it will stretch an eventually allow it to fully lock in. Very good product, I definitely recommend it! I was skeptical at first to buy a budget cart but to not regret this buy at all.

At the bottom of my favorite kayak run is a near half mile portage.. this cart is wonderful helping me out.. the only problem I have found is the cart sometimes turns under my boat.. I mounted a couple anchors to hold the strap in place and haven't had a problem.

Giving it only 4 stars because they lie about the weight capacity in the Amazon description. The manual starts in bold letters the load bearing capacity is only 165lbs. But it arrived fully assembled besides the clip-on wheels. Nice and lightweight, and easy to use.

I cannot recommend this product as it is unreliable as is. The worst product I have ever purchased as it prevented me from enjoying my kayak outing. It kept collapsing therefore unable to move the kayak to the launching area. For it to work you must have to improve the design yourself by drilling/screwing a metal piece on the frame to avoid it from collapsing. So you have to spend time and more money so you can modify this thing so that it remains in the open position to avoid it from collapsing over and over again and get your new kayak bottom all scratched up in the process as it happened to my new kayak. The tires are the only thing good about this cart while it was working it moved kayak w ease until it collapsed.

Folds up on itself in use. Appears to have an adjustment to hopefully fix that but haven't had the need or weather since I first used it to test that out. Remains to be seen. Straps are also difficult to tighten and keep tight so it doesn't slide under the kayak

I love this. I use it all the time. It's pretty stable over bumpy hard surfaces. I have not used this over sand. The wheels come off so I can put it in my biggest hutch and head out onto the water

I purchased this to carry an AquaGlide Chelan 140. It's only supposed to be 38 lbs and I can lift and carry it, however I did that last time and the wind kicked-up and it darn near knocked me over. So... figured this would be WAY easier! Glad I got it! I was a little worried because some of the reviews said it collapses on itself and I didn't want that happening halfway down the trail, and it DID do it the first time I tried it. But then I realized it was because I had the straps arranged wrong. What I found is that you should have one of the straps around the front bar and then the second strap further back around the back bar, and cinch them both down TIGHT! That helps keep the cart open! In this photo, I had to pull this thing about 1/4 mile to the water and with it cinched-down properly it worked wonderfully! The only thing is that you can see I put it further back. That worked, but next time I'm gonna lighten the load by putting the wheels further forward... probably just behind the center line. I think that would have made my job a lot easier (especially getting back UP the trail to the parking lot!), but I was still incredibly pleased with the performance of this thing even over dirt, rocks, and brush. It's also great how you can just pull the wheels off so quickly and throw them in the back of the boat, followed by the folded frame. I also appreciate the solid wheels, too. I liked some of the other brands, but did NOT want to deal with inflatable tubes. So it's official... I love this thing! :)

Okay, the only thing I don't like about this is the strand that it comes with it, it's a piece of crap. So get yourself a nice ratchet strap or whatever they're called from late Home Depot or Walmart or whatever is near you. It's great though, it works just like it should, and I had to carry or I guess pull my kayak for like a mile and a half because I was on this river and they took out the old ramp I didn't have no signs up or anything, so me and my family thankfully found this nice family that let us use their like normal ramp to go up out of the river and then we had to walk like I'm out half back to the parking lot. But this was a lifesaver for sure.
