  • Good Quality and Great Value
Color: Red
I had purchased another Bonnlo kayak cart about 7 months ago with solid tires (the yellow one) but it did not work well on soft sand with a heavy fishing kayak and chose to use with my lighter fiberglass kayak and it works better. I needed the cart with balloon tires. I purchased this cart with the higher profile balloon tires about 4 months ago (there are two sizes, one has a lower profile balloon tire and the other cart has a higher profile balloon tire). It worked amazing, gliding across the sand with the kayak weighing about 100 lbs. including gear. About two months later, one of the the high profile balloon tires developed a bubble which made one tire lopsided. I was disappointed and contacted the seller. The customer service was amazing and they contacted me by email within a few days. They asked for picture and the reason I had issues. They sent me a new tire within a week. It was the wrong tire as they as they sent me the lower profile tire. I explained this to them and they sent me two new tires and with a pump at no extra charge. However, the tires were both the lower profile tires but I am happy that I have two tires that match and the new lower profile tires feel stronger than the higher profile balloon tires. I now have three tires because they did not want me to return the first tire they sent. I imagine they may have had issues with the higher profile tire as it appears to have thinner walls. I am yet to test on the sand and hope they work just as well as the higher profile balloon tires. Five stars for a quality product and excellent customer service to backup their product. I wish all sellers on Amazon were as attentive to their customer's needs as this seller was to me. ... show more

  • Best kayak cart yet!
Color: Red
One of my biggest challenges when kayak fishing was getting my boats into and out of the water. Whether from a boat ramp, or shore, moving these 100lb+ beasts (Ocean Kayak Torque/Hobie Outback) was the worst part of the day. To that end. I've bought/DIY'd a number of kayak carts over the years, as a particular design would work well with one kayak, in SOME conditions, but not at all with the other. This cart is, ABSOLUTELY, the best overall design for ease of use, transport and onboard storage for BOTH my 2 large, heavy fishing kayaks. I wish I found this years ago! ... show more

  • Folding issue
Color: Red
Four stars on potential. I have just used the cart once, but want to put some information out for anyone interested. First, I had the same folding issue as Lennartsell. I managed to use the cart, very carefully; but, had my old cart along because I did not trust this one. Now, I think I have resolved the issue of the cart collapsng with this technique. Instead of lashing directly across the top of the kayak, I use Progrip cords from Home Depot. I use one progrip from the rear cross bar of the cart, to run across the boat aft of the wheels (using the rings on the rear deck of the boat to anchor it.) this keeps the rear bar on the cart from collapsing forward. I then run another Progrip, from a forward crossbar, through the boat's midship carrying handles, and across to attach on the other side. This is forward of the wheels, and keeps the forward cross bar from collapsing rearward. A simple technique that works well to keep the cart open. (This could be done with ropes; but, I have used the Progrips for some time. They are strong, economical, and easy to use.) . Another issue was that with the bow of the boat resting on the ground, as it would be after loading, the kickstand also rested on the ground and could not be folded. I moved the rubber bumpers from the horizontal bar around to the vertical bars, and that provides ground clearance. (I did not want to fool with the springs to remove the bumpers; nor did I want to cut them off.) As with other carts of similar design, it does not fit my Native Watercraft fishing kayak hull very well, because the cross bars are short, and the V notch is not deep enough to accommodate the keel.. The boat is not stable on the cart. I have clamped a 26" long PVC pipe to the rear bar and padded it with pipe insulation. This gives support to the outer part of the hull, and helps stabilize it by reducing rocking. Finally, I have attached strands of parachute cord, or similar, to the corner of each crossbar. These can be laid out to the sied when the cart is about to be loaded and, and the Progrip hooked to them. This eliminates having to search around under the boat to make the attachments. All of this sounds like a lot; but, I think the accommodations I described would be advantageous in any cart of similar design I did think there was a substantial improvement on sand and pavement over the alleged sand wheels I was using. I am conversing with Bonnlo and have advised them of all of this. ... show more

  • GLIDES ACROSS THE DEEP SAND
Color: Red
I have a 65# sit-on-top kayak that I paddle in the Gulf of Mexico; for years, I've had a typical hard-wheeled cart for the trip from the garage to the beach. In the deep sand, the effort required to pull it was tremendous. I've finally wised up and purchased the Bonnlo cart with balloon tires. What a difference! I can pull the cart/kayak one-handed over the deep sand. It's a life-changer for me. The cart is sturdy and arrives easy-to-assemble. (it is also red, and I like that, too). The tires just slide onto the axle and clip in place. An air pump is included, but I used a bike pump to inflate the tires. Be careful to not over-inflate; their maximum pressure is minuscule. There are written directions on how to tie on the kayak, and ties are also included. Great product at a good price point. I recommend. ... show more

  • Awesome cart
Color: Silver
So glad I got this. It does a great job on wet or dry sand. Doesn't sink in at all. I have an 85 pound kayak and load it with another 50 pounds of gear and can easily pull this to the water. You need to place the wheels and balance the load so it isn't heavy to lift the front of the kayak. It is a lot harder to pull back up the beach at the end of the day with the extra load. Cons: The ratchet straps are not high quality, and not quick or easy to fasten. It can be awkward to load the kayak back on the cart and tighten it down, especially on a steeper beach. ... show more

  • Easy assembly—but collapses
Color: Red
The product was easy to assemble—really happy about that. However, I have to kayaks by separate companies and this collapses for both and slips out from under them. One is a vibe skipjack 90 and the other a Pelican Bandit NXT 100. Wouldn’t purchase this one again.
