    • I’d repurchase and recommend this kit.
This is a great starter kit for drawing. The colored pencils actually blend pretty decently. Though, there’s no white colored pencil, nor white charcoal. Also, I’m not sure about how well the pigment would actually hold up to different environment factors (ie. UV light, extremes of hold/cold; over exposure to humidity or evaporation). Though, for sketches for personal use, or learning settings, these are great. All of the little extras, like the knife, eraser, marker, blenders, etc are enough to get their jobs done. Besides the missing white, the only real complaint are the graphite pencils. (Edit) Also, they claim to include a sketchbook; its not a true sketchbook—maybe a thin, mini pad you can scribble on or perhaps test values with. While i like the array in texture/size, the array in hardness could be better—specifically, the hard, H Pencils. You will have to purchase a true 6H + pencil separately. I’m a professional and classically trained artist; overall, I give this set a A-. I’d repurchase and recommend this kit. ... show more
