If you're using an air chuck to blow out your water pipes for the winder, these little guys are perfect! They're well made and slip right on! you could, in theory, also combine these with some larger PVC pipes and make yourself a little portable shower that you pressurize with a hand-pump/bike pump.

    • Just in time for winter
I have a couple of underground lines that run to my pool house and grill sink, and they have to be blown out each year. I've been doing this the hard way... adapting a spray nozzle to a rubber thing to create the seal that I need to use with my compressor. While I haven't used these adapters to prep my lines yet (it's not quite time), I did test the seals, threads, and Schrader valves, and everything seems to be in order. One of my lines is female and the other male, so having one of each adapter is perfect -- I can just leave them on as caps throughout the winter. Great price on real brass fittings (not zinc or copper-plated aluminum, both of which are becoming more common). I also appreciate the extra hose washers and the full-sized roll of teflon tape. ... show more

When winterizing our RV travel trailer I need to blow out any remaining water from the water hose system. And this is the perfect adapter to use. I can connector this to our RV city water inlet, and then use compressed air at the schradar valve to blow out any remaining water. Perfect solution. Recommended. ... show more

Haven’t winterized the travel trailer yet and this will actually be the first time blowing out the lines instead of using rv antifreeze, fingers crossed that I do it correctly. These will be perfect

This is a quality kit with brass fittings. It did come with protective caps and extra gaskets. It also came with Teflon tape in case you need it.
