We work up on Sunday morning with no water to our RV. No shower before church that morning. The hose to our rig was frozen. The low temperature that night was 30. When we got home from church I started searching for a solution because colder weather was on the way. I found this hose, good reviews, reasonable price and next day shipping option. It arrived the next morning. Setting it up was simple. We also rigged a covered structure over the water pipe (it sticks up out of the ground about 24 inches) with towels wrapped around the exposed pipe, a folding table covered by a heavy tarp placed over the top because the next storm was bringing temps in the low 20’s to teens. No frozen water pipes with this setup.

Kept our water flowing when we got the cold front in Texas with freezing temps and snow for a bit. I like that this one was a little more flexible of a hose than another product I tried first. Easy to install but it does leak at some of the connections. We tried different things to get it to stop but there seems to still be a slight leak. I like that there's a temperature sensor and turns off and on depending on the temperature.

This was my second attempt at a heated water hose for my RV. Unfortunately, while this one didn’t leak, it’s stopped working. So now my pipes are frozen, and the RV park well connection just blew while I wasn’t home. This is gonna cost me a small fortune to repair.

Great heated hose, got us thru winter last year in Ohio living in RV. If using more than one hose you must insulate the connection, i used foam pipe insulation cut to size.
