This runner could be really cute in the right room, most likely a child's room. I like the whimsical pattern - checkerboard with one different colored square. I ordered the Purple and Yellow. It looks more like pink and mustard - which I actually like the idea of - but in this case the colors just don't look right. The rug is a little more substantial than other washable rugs but still needs a mat under it for some structure. Also, the edges are raw/not finished which adds to the casual whimsy, but for the price point of around thirty eight dollars at the time of this writing, I expect a bit more.

The design of this rug stood out to me immediately. Very unique looking with the single color accent tile, and overall a color that will go well with a modern gray/white farmhouse style interior. I needed a patch of color in my mostly gray bathroom, but didn't want to overpower it with a large colorful rug in front of the tub. This rug will do just what I needed. The base fabric is pretty heavy and feel smooth and cool to the touch. The material likely will need some sort of anti-slip pad under it if you place it in a higher traffic area, or it should sit on top of a carpet where it will anchor itself quite well. The fuzzy squares are about half an inch long fibers stitched into the backing. From more than 2 feet it all looks perfect, but up close, depending on how the fibers fall, it looks a bit rough, almost as if stitches are missing here and there. They aren't missing, but the appearance is still there because of the rather wide spaces between each stitch of the fuzzy fibers. A denser stitching and more fibers would have really made a difference here, so a star taken off. It is fine, but it lacks a bit of that finish quality you would want from a rug to place in a more visible area other than a bathroom. Thumbs up for a very unique piece. Look no further if you need a modern rug in your bathroom.

I hate how cold it is this winter, and hate feeling the icy cold tole floor when I get up at night to go to the bathroom. Enter this rug, it's the perfect width for my bathroom and could stand to be a little bit longer but it does the job, especially for something that's not custom! The white squares of the rug are thinner than the pink tufted squares but it still keeps the cold at bay. I don't really notice the yellow square but it's a cute accent. The rug is not a perfect rectangle but it is hard to notice. I ordered the 2'x6' rug but this one actually measures 23"x71" so just a little bit smaller.
