Not really the thick Japanese floor mattress I am use to. So I use it as a topper on my bed. I ordered the extra thick and it is not as described. Definitely wash the cover and spray the cushion. Has an odor. I have repurposed this as a topper for my bed and it is super comfy.

I love lounging on the floor and so do the dogs. It's plush enough to give some support on my hardwood floors when I'm folding laundry, watching tv, etc. I've slept full nights on it in my carpeted guest bedroom, but wouldn't make it a regular thing. The foam isn't super thick but is easy to fold in half and double up. I wish it was a bit more flexible because the twin size doesn't fit in my washer, but I'm glad you can at least wash the cover, which is pretty thin.
