The available sizes were either too big or too small, so I ordered the size that was slightly too small. I didn't want to have to deal with the hassle of cutting to fit and paying more for the larger one. It's totally fine though, because I cut the lengths to fit the two windows in my office room, and there's only a one-inch gap on either side. Surprisingly that's not an issue. This product still drastically reduces the sunshine and heat in the afternoon. Make sure you follow the directions. Buy a good firm squeegee, not a flimsy one for window cleaning like at the gas stations. (I bought the "SetSail Shower Squeegee" for like $5 and it is perfect for this.) Clean the window thoroughly with window cleaner first! Mix up a spray bottle with a tiny bit of soap and lot of water. A little soap goes a long way. I used like two drops of dawn dish soap in a 20-ounce sprayer. Place a towel down at the bottom of the window, because you will need to spray A LOT. Seriously, hose the window down while applying the film, and once it is up, hose the film down. It may seem strange to do that, but you'll understand why when you start to squeegee it. Squeegee it slowly from the middle to the outside, starting from the top. Then, when you think you are done, squeegee it again very slowly. You'll see more soapy water come out if you look closely. Repeat until finished.

Our picture window faces south and the sun heats the whole downstairs. Great in the winter....but not when it's 90+ My son in law put it on this morning. I couldn't believe that the living room was not hot when I got home from work. My sister came down and said, ooohhhh....it's cold down here🤣 Being in Montana I am 4,000 feet above sea level and it makes the sun much more intense. I would recommend this product to anybody who is trying to keep sun related heat out. Don't expect it to look like the pictures unless you have a ton experience doing work like this.

This is my second purchase and I am very happy to recommend them.The windows where I applied this window tint to faces the afternoon sun making the room very, very warm. However, that has changed ever since I installed this window tint. The room feels so much cooler and able to retain the cool air from the AC. These are good quality window tint. Highly recommended!

Bought to keep my yappy dogs from looking out and barking all day! With the sheers in front and from outside they look real. It has reduced barking by over 50%-they still go to the back door to bark and I’ll let them have that bc it isn’t in my ear😂. The dogs realized quickly that they couldn’t see and actually laid on the couch nicely. I was worried they might paw at them but didn’t. They allow light in but helps with sun glare too. Definitely recommend.

Bought the 35.6 x 78.7 inch size. Comes in one 36-inch or so tube rolled up, so no creases or folds. Beware of some other brands that I looked at that might send certain sizes (widths) as two pieces, supposedly due to Amazon shipping restrictions. Used it horizontally to cover this arched window, above a bathtub, with a single piece. this is the second brand/type of window film we've had on this window. Have not had any issues with either of them adhering and the last one (different brand) was on this window for over 10 years with no peeling. Had the bathroom redone, so picked out this window film for the redo. Previous film came off with no problems or residue. I expect the same from this static cling film. There is no built in color. Any color you see is either the background behind the window or the prismatic rainbow effect of the leaves in the film. Very cool effect. More than opaque enough. The advantage of this film over many that have pictures is you can rotate the film if your window is more wide than tall (as in this case). Most picture or scenery films do not rotate very well. Have already bought another roll of this (different size) to put on a couple other windows elsewhere in the house.

I was actually quite shocked how realistic this Looked. I didn’t need it for privacy I needed it to help keep the heat out, but bonus I love the way it looks from the outside. Easy to install just make sure you peel the one layer off definitely read the instructions. This would be perfect for someone living in an apartment.
