I got this because I live in a small trailer park and my dog often moved the curtains to look and would expose my whole kitchen. I really just didn’t want to be a naked window neighbor. Being a custom window, blinds are expensive and pets would damage them. Anyways it was so easy to install and it was freezing outside (-4 F) and went on fine, haven’t had to do anything. The windows in my living room are wide and I have a sliding door. My unit is in a high-traffic area and other residents can walk by and look inside. I previously purchased these 'faux blinds' for another home and loved the look. The difficulty was finding these wide enough to cover my windows in my new place. The 45" size was perfect and met my needs. The film allows sunlight during the day and works well at night by not allowing anyone to see in when lights are on. These are easy to install. I did this by myself using a wallpaper squeegee and a spray bottle with lots of water and a few drops of dish soap. Most importantly, they look lovely and it's difficult to tell they are not real blinds. Initially, there was a bit of a mixup when I ordered these (twice) as the Amazon description wasn't setup correctly. I'm still waiting for my credit almost 30 days later; however, I'm really happy with how these turned out. Thanks! ... show more

My bedroom is the hottest room in the house during these Texas summers as one wall is a giant window. Some days it's 15+ degrees warmer than the rest of the house. I like the light from the window so I didn't want to completely cover it. Purchased this reflexive film and was able to easily install it with some soapy water in a spray bottle and a squeegee. It went on smooth and I didn't need any help to put it up. The film was a little darker than expected but the temperature difference for the rest of the summer has been substantial! I like that during the day I can have my blinds and curtains open and no one can see in. Wish I'd bought this years ago, would have saved some money on electricity trying to cool this room off. ... show more

It says 44 pieces . But it literally is counting the 4 clusters of gold balls you see as 4 balls each Not 1 ornament since they are together . I ordered 3 sets since I have A 7ft tree thinking I’ll have 132 to fill up the tree . It’s misleading advertisement. I would Have to buy another 5-6 of these just to fill up my tree . ... show more

The available sizes were either too big or too small, so I ordered the size that was slightly too small. I didn't want to have to deal with the hassle of cutting to fit and paying more for the larger one. It's totally fine though, because I cut the lengths to fit the two windows in my office room, and there's only a one-inch gap on either side. Surprisingly that's not an issue. This product still drastically reduces the sunshine and heat in the afternoon. Make sure you follow the directions. Buy a good firm squeegee, not a flimsy one for window cleaning like at the gas stations. (I bought the "SetSail Shower Squeegee" for like $5 and it is perfect for this.) Clean the window thoroughly with window cleaner first! Mix up a spray bottle with a tiny bit of soap and lot of water. A little soap goes a long way. I used like two drops of dawn dish soap in a 20-ounce sprayer. Place a towel down at the bottom of the window, because you will need to spray A LOT. Seriously, hose the window down while applying the film, and once it is up, hose the film down. It may seem strange to do that, but you'll understand why when you start to squeegee it. Squeegee it slowly from the middle to the outside, starting from the top. Then, when you think you are done, squeegee it again very slowly. You'll see more soapy water come out if you look closely. Repeat until finished. ... show more
