I purchased this pop up playpen for use when we went camping, so I didn't need to tie the dogs(9 lb chihuahua nd 16 lb shih tzu) out. They loved it! They could see everything going on and while not enough room to run around. I put blankets and dogs beds in there and they were quite content. (Of course, they had lots of walks and play time out of the playpen, and slept in the camper at night.) If your dog were to scratch a lot at them mesh it might tear. It is not super sturdy but did hold up to my dogs putting their paws on the side when they saw another dog. It could not be easier to set up-- takes maybe 10 seconds. Love this and so glad I bought it. Gave me peace of mind knowing they were comfy and safe on occasions when we needed it. Also kept the mosquitos out!

I h and have had many dogs, but never one of these. We have a kennel for our dogs, and for our new puppy in the "dog room" where they sleep. Those can get heavy & once placed and set up, not inclined to move. The price was reasonable I thought, so tried it.. Couldn't be happier. The playpen folds up easily, has an elastic loop to keep it folded until your ready, the easily pops open. I like easy. It's also the size of a brief case when folded & VERY light. This has come in so handy with our puppy. We keep it in the living room, and put him in when we eat, when we leave the room, etc. He is not at the point he should roam free, or risk falling off couch if sitting with us. Lots of room for potty pad, toys, blanket & he likes it. He can see out so doesn't feel closed in. We took him to see my folks at their apt when he was new at 8 weeks. Any other place we might want t.o take him, this is a simple, great alternative that keeps them safe & out of trouble!

I loved this play pen it was really spacious for the stray cats I am fostering. I've had it for about 6 months now and I am now starting to see wear and tear. I've had to sew up holes 4 times at the bottom corners :(. Honestly I still give it a 8/10 because it is decent quality and folds up for storage, also easy to clean.

This little dog tent exceed my expectations. It’s SO cute, and the quality appears to be great so far. It popped right open and is very easy to break back down and travel with. My 4 month Boston LOVES it! Immediately went inside and made it her new hangout space. She looks so freakin cute I can’t handle it! This is the medium size and it’s perfect for her bed with a little extra space for walking around. I think the small would have been too small and the large too large.

As a playpen, it serves the purpose, but by dog doesn't stay in it beyond five minutes. The material is very thin especially at the base and will tear easily. I placed it on the pavement to clean it and get rid of the very strong and not so pleasant factory smell, which puts off both my dog and me. I could see subtle rip lines at the base afterwards. The smell did not go away with the clean. The zips are also not strong. The one for the side opening keeps getting stuck on one side and bent the first time I tried to get it unstuck. I would order again if the quality of materials were improved. Any suggestions on how to remove that smell would also be great. If my puppy ever takes to it, it would work. It's a nice light weight if needed on the go.

I bought this for my 3 rats so they could have a play pen to hang out in while I clean their cage. On the third time using this, one of my boys chewed a huge hole in the flimsy mesh and another in the bottom of the pen. If I wasn't in the room with them they could've easily escaped and been lost forever. Maybe this is my bad for using this with rats but I can see this being a problem if youre using this with a dog that likes to tear apart their toys or maybe an animal with bad separation anxiety. The whole thing feels like it's made of very poor quality material that could easily be destroyed.
