    • Dead On Arrival!! Horrible Support From Seller.

I ordered SS-P430WA which was advertised as 15.5Cu. Foot cooler. It's really 14.2Cu Feet based on the documentation that came with it. This cooler arrived in fine condition but after letting it rest for 24 hours as suggested, it's doesn't work. It actually get HOTTER the longer it's plugged in. It started out at 80 degrees which was room temp and it crept up to 94 degrees after running for 4 hours. I contacted Bodegacooler support and they were no help. They were reading off a list of things to check. They never asked what model I had so what they were telling me did not match up with the cooler I had. The manual was very poorly written and almost incomprehensible when it comes to how to set the temperature. If you search for the PN I mentioned, it seems to be a very mass produced cooler that everyone rebrands and resells. The temp controller appears to be made by Elitech and the manual that shipped doesn't document any of the features it's capable of. I'd stay away from these if they were shipped by anyone other than Amazon. I don't trust their customer support to make this right. Using more vertical space to allow for a narrow footprint is exactly what I needed. Lots of flexibility on shelf arrangement. Keeps everything well chilled with no condensation on door or bottles/cans. I was a little worried about how noisy it would be since it's a commercial unit, but it runs quieter than my residential kitchen refrigerator/freezer. They delivered it to my driveway and it was no problem using an appliance dolly to get it up the 4 porch steps and inside the house. It shipped in a thin plywood crate so was completely protected from dents or dings. I truly could not be any more pleased with this purchase. ... show more
