We bought this as our new house has a small wine room (6 x 8) with french doors to it. This room has no vents for AC or Heat. The first thing that caught our eye with this was that it was good in a small space with little noise and no drastic heat output. The second thing was the amount of bottles it holds, and last was the colors of the lights :) We placed this as far back in the room as we can, while leaving some space for airflow behind it. that room has not been warm, let alone hot, the entire time we have it running, and it's currently holding nearly 130 bottles at this time we don't leave the doors opened, or cracked at all. They are closed 100% of the time, unless we're going to get a bottle for dinner. The value for the item vs amount spent....we bought during the 'it's hard to get everything' time, and as such, we saw this item go up in price a few times...so i don't think the value so much is horrible, but our delay caused us to spend a little more than when we started our time to research. We don't regret the purchase, just wished we could have done it sooner. PS - the Delivery guys DID bring it into the house for us. I've seen some people say they drop it on your driveway and wish you 'the best of luck'. So i was happy they did that. Once we got it off the crate, moving it to its new location (VLP floors) wasn't difficult at all. ... show more

***Update** I placed an order for a new unit, and it arrived and worked perfectly must have been a bad unit; it happens. The best part is not the Unit itself. This Seller has gone above and beyond to ensure I received a replacement unit and refund on the bad Unit. Amazon was not much help returning an oversized unit, but the Seller had made it worth wile, did a great job, and provided great customer service. I received the Unit and had it sit for 24 hours before turning it on. After hours of waiting temperature was the same; it would not get more relaxed. I will be returning the Unit. Since it fits perfectly in my area, I will order a second unit since electronics can just go bad during transportation. I will give it a 2nd chance and report back. ... show more

    • Unit Arrived with Mechanical Defects and is Not Cooling - Support Non-Responsive & Unreasonable

Update: I have tried to work with "ONETREE HOME USA"/"Bodega Cooler" trying to arrange either a repair or a replacement/pickup transation. They have only responded on Amazon and always with obfuscations or absurd suggestions. They have never responded to multiple emails. They have finally offered that I buy a new unit at 50% discount, and I then get this refunded once I confirmed new unit operation. They did not mention what to do with return, but their general policy clearly states returns are at customers own cost (this could easily cost $3-400 or maybe more). I informed them that what they are proposing is a violation of consumer laws of California, and obviously completely unacceptable to any reasonable person. I have instead arranged for Amazon Support to pick up the cooler for a full refund. Amazon has been great, although I think they should not be offering products from this awful third-party seller. "ONETREE HOME USA" or "Bodega Cooler" do not appear to be registered to do business in California, and I have not beeen able to find the actual company that is selling this product. There are no phone numbers, and the US address is for a Chinese Shipping Logistics/Warehouse company. The Hong Kong address on their website has no name and no phone numbers . I suspect the seller is manufacturer in China. In other words, they are doing business in California and the United States without disclosing their identity, and the fiduciary business names they use do not appear to be registered anywhere in the US. This product when it works appears nice and of good quality, but the support is non-existent, and you will end up having to return the product (using Amazon) if it is dead on arrival (which from reviews seem common). Furthermore, from my experience I have serious doubts about the value of the "warranty" for this product. "ONETREE HOME USA"/"Bodega Cooler" does not seem to have a credible support organization and I have no idea how they could possible arrange for any repairs. They did not want to discuss onsite repair of my cooler. I told them it seemed like it was fully functional but perhaps simply lacked cooling fluid. I strongly suggest you review the one-star reviews before purchasing anything from this awful company, In conclusion, I strongly do not recommend purchasing anything from "ONETREE HOME USA"/"Bodega Cooler". Original Review: I received unit 3 days ago. Initially, I noticed one drawer was tight and would not extract fully, and also one drawer shelf was simply lying loose in the bottom of interior (still not sure if that is normal). Seller responded to defect report on Amazon messaging and requested videos, which I sent. No response received since then. After swithing on unit yesterday (waiting 48 hours) it turned out the unit is not cooling. Everything seems to be working fine but stays at 74F... I reported issue of not cooling, and still no response from vendor (ONETREE HOME USA/bodegacooler.com. It seems vendor support is located in Hong Kong, which means there is a lag in communication. They did have all day yesterday, Hong Kong time, to respond to my issues, though. At this point I am working with Amazon on a replacement or repair. Amazon Support also tried to contact vendor via phone but no response. Amazon Support has been great, as always. Until further notice, I cannot recommend purchasing anything from this company. The cooler does seem to be a great product, looks great, and appears to be solidly built. There are lights throughout and the functional drawers slide great and seem very stable. Delivery: I was asked to pick a schedule of when my 2 coolers would arrive. I chose 12pm-3pm. They confirmed the once on text but never sent updates as they promised. I woke up in the morning only to find the 2 massive coolers in my driveway. I didn't even know the delivery company had been there. I wasn't prepared to move them or install them without the help I planned for the afternoon. They could have been stolen too. Coolers: I'm very disappointed to find that the shelves are NOT adjustable up or down. The notes say you can put wider bottles in there and you'll lose storage capability, but the shelves are still too close together so when you open a drawer with larger bottles it rubs against one or two other shelves and brings those out too. Sometimes they rip the labels on bottles as well. A simple solution would be to add another 1/4" of space vertically between all drawers OR make them adjustable height-wise. I would gladly lose an entire shelf space if all the shelves were about spaced with about 1/4" more between them. While I am still in my 30 day return window I may look for an alternative and have them come and pick them up. Unless they can help me figure out how to space the shelves out myself. ... show more
