I'm using this with the BoboVR S3 Pro headstrap and I think it pairs well. On first use it was an immediate difference from the Quest 3's stock facial interface, it was like a total blackout, no light leak at all, full immersion. Even after 10 minutes of use there's a very obvious sheen on the leather like material that easily wipes off. That's all sweat. Sweat that would have soaked invisibly into the more fabric like stock interface. Gross. That alone sorta makes this a must buy and especially for the price. I like it, would recommend. It's definitely more comfy, fits well, and the adjustment wheels are way easier to use than the stock method, you don't even have to take the headset off to adjust it. I need to give a 5/5 for the customer service as well. My nose guard broke immediately and BoboVR sent me an entire replacement facial interface instead of making me jump through the hoops of an amazon return.

First, let me say this with the S3 Pro is the PERFECT combo. My S3 pro was kind of hard to adjust with the stock facial interface because the back would move up my head (I have a mullet, so my hair would slide up with the back brace) but this with the nose interface helps keep things balanced and I no longer have that issue. This is also 100 times more comfortable! I use my headset for working out, so this makes wiping any sweat away super easy as well. 10/10 would buy again.

It's a pretty great design, just like the rest of bobo's stuff. it's comfy and the adjustment knobs for the distance between eyes and lenses is a fantastic upgrade over stock. My only complaint is that the edges/ seams around the velcro on the face bad are quite rough and sharp. When the mask is on tight enough to squish the pad down, the edges can dig into my cheeks and forehead which is quite uncomfortable- although this probably means the mask is too tight anyway

I picked up the BOBOVR F3 Facial Interface for Quest 3 mainly because I do a lot of active VR (boxing, fitness apps, longer sessions), and the idea of a “cooling” facial cover sounded like exactly what I needed. After using it for a while, I’d say it’s a decent upgrade, but it’s not the game-changer I was hoping for. What I like: The ventilation design actually does help more than the stock facial interface. During longer or more intense VR sessions, my face doesn’t heat up as quickly, and sweat buildup is noticeably reduced. It’s not “air-conditioned cool,” but airflow is definitely better, especially compared to the default Quest 3 interface. The materials are also a step up in comfort. The padding feels softer on the face and doesn’t press as hard into the cheeks or forehead. I appreciate that it’s easy to wipe down after sweaty workouts, which is a big plus if you use VR fitness or boxing games regularly. Installation was straightforward, and it snapped into place without any major issues. Where it falls short: Fit is very hit-or-miss. Depending on your face shape, you might notice light leakage around the nose or sides, and I found myself readjusting it more often than I’d like. The nose flap feels a bit awkward and doesn’t seal consistently. The “cooling” effect also isn’t as impressive unless you’re using it with a compatible BOBOVR head strap or fan system. On its own, the improvement is there, but it’s subtle. For the price, I expected the cooling benefit to be more noticeable without needing extra accessories. Build quality is okay, but it doesn’t feel as premium as I expected. It’s not flimsy, but it also doesn’t scream “high-end upgrade” considering the cost. Overall: The BOBOVR F3 facial interface is a solid but imperfect upgrade. It improves airflow and comfort compared to the stock Quest 3 interface, especially for active users, but the fit issues and modest cooling keep it from being a must-buy. If you already use BOBOVR accessories or really struggle with heat buildup, it’s worth trying. Otherwise, it feels a bit overpriced for what you get — good, not great.
