When i saw the box it arrived in , my 1st thought is how is the lampshade in the box. It was very well packaged, with the lampshade wrapped around the lamp base. I was worried about being able to put the shade together, but because strong velcro is used ,its very easy. The lamp looks like wood with wood grain. I would think it could be easily painted to match your decor if you choose to change the color. I ordered color 1 , but i think color 2 is the same color. The difference seems to be on how the lamp is turned on. The only way to turn on the light ( on color 1 ) is with the small silver circle you touch on the base of the lamp, which also adjusts the brightness. .I noticed color 2 has a rotary switch on the body you would use to turn on the light. Glad I made this purchase, sturdy, very nice looking lamps and work beautifully on the nightstands with the touch light and charger all together in lamp. ... show more

I struggled with my rating. I waffled between 3 and 4 stars. Overall, the color is what I was hoping, I think it goes well with my sofa. This was my first experience with a shade that needed to be assembled, and I don’t think I am a fan. I get that it makes it easier to pack and everything, but I’d rather have a real shade. I think I got lucky and got two relatively unwrinkled undamaged shades to assemble. They went together fairly easy (another set of hands could have been used), but I’m not sure how well the tiny strip of Velcro will hold. So far my touch on/off button works. I did get build, they are three way, they are also plastic which I have never seen before, but they in no way give off enough light. The picture I included is on 3 which is as bright as it goes, so I will have to go in search of better bulbs. I will probably keep these for now, and hunt down brighter bulbs, and eventually I think I will have to invest in shades. So add those costs to the lamps. These arrived today, and I’m peeved that today they went on sale. Ugh! If you are patient, you can probably get them on sale, wish I did. ... show more

I ordered these to go on 2 nightstands in our bedroom. They re exactly what I wanted! The shade scared me a little. They come wrapped around the lamp and you have to velcro them onto 2 metal frames. I thought this is crazy and is going to look so cheap. WRONG. I was completely surprised when I got them on, it looked like an expensive linen lamp shade. There are 2 USB ports on the back of the lamp. You tap the small silver button on the front of the base and it has 3 levels of brightness. So handy. I only gave 4 stars because I feel like they should be cheaper due to the amount of assembly required. ... show more

These lamps were packaged well and delivered on time. They were easy to put together, took only a few minutes and easy to operate. I love the usb ports on the back of the lamp to be able to charge my phone and iPad ant the same time. I would buy again.

These lamps are exactly as expected. They were easy to put together. It took approximately 15 minutes and the lightbulbs were included so I was able to put them onto my nightstands very quickly. They were well worth the money I paid. I would recommend these lamps. I’m giving a five star rating because they are sturdy. The touch lamp works perfectly with three settings.
