I bought 2 BOBLOV cameras, in January of 2023. I worked in private security and needed a dash camera and a body camera as I drove a roving patrol in an industrial/residential park. The body camera is only used when I make contact with a person so there is no confusion about what is said when I file my Daily Activity Reports. I don't always need to turn the video in, but when there is an issue I can locate the short clips I need to show my employer. The camera will make video clips and will give you the option to set time limits on how long each clip is. I use the 5-minute setting because it is easier to find the segment you need and quickly email it with a report. I work with the body camera in the off position until I think Im going to need a video, then I turn it on to the stand-by position so it is ready when I talk to someone or need to record an incident. The camera takes the best photos no matter what the lighting conditions are. If there is no light the camera goes into infrared mode and takes very clean and clear black-and-white photos and video. My body camera has worked flawlessly for over 2 years now and I use it 5 to 7 days a week. The dash camera when set to dash mode will turn off and on, when starting the truck it turns on and when stopping the truck it turns off. A lighter socket operates the camera, so if you have a lighter socket that turns the power off and on with the switch you will get the same response I do. If you want the camera on all the time, you will need to use a normally on supply, for instance, my truck has two lighter sockets, one is always on and the other turns off and on the turning of the ignition key. My dash camera developed a clarity problem and I contacted support. They said it was repairable and asked me to send it back. Custom support said they would just send me a new one seeing as I was using it nightly. Before I even returned to the old one, the new one arrived within a few days. I can't say how many times these 2 cameras have come in handy and saved my bacon by capturing important interactions, from fleeing automobiles to getting tag numbers to recording rude and unruly personal contacts. I give the cameras 5 stars for flawless service and super photos. They take both video and single photos, which can be snapped even while recording video. I give the camera mounts 5 stars as well. The body camera magnetic mount is so strong it is hard to remove it from my vest sometimes. The windshield mount works well, I leave it mounted for weeks at a time only removing it to clean the windshield and the suction cup. Keeping the cup clean is very important to ensure a good mounting to the windshield. I can't give customer service enough stars, they were courteous and easy to work with and I spoke to a person and not an AI system to solve my problem. I strongly recommend these cameras and products if recording is important to your job.

I use this body cam for security, and it works really good. The battery is a larger size at 4200 mAh, which fits my needs on an 8 hour shift. It's easy to record right away by pushing the button on the front of the camera. Actually, if the camera goes to sleep after 5 minutes, which is what I have it set to do, you need to push a button once to wake it up and then push whatever button you want to use, whether for a picture or video. The weight of it is fine, and you can see what the buttons are for, unlike one of the other Boblov cameras I reviewed where the buttons were completely black. The one problem I have with this camera, and maybe I'm nit picky, but I wish it vibrated when you push record and when you stop recording. You have to look down at the light of the camera on the top to see if it's still blinking red for recording, or whether it's green for when it's not recording. I also have the B4K5 model and it does have the vibrating option. When you're in Arizona and we have bright sun for 340 days a year, sometimes it's hard to see little lights on the top of a camera. No vibration means I have to struggle to look for a light on the camera, which is a minor inconvenience, but still annoying, as my other camera has this feature. Also, when on stealth mode, because there are no light indicators on for this mode, not having vibration means you have to look at the screen of the camera to see if you're recording or not. It's little things like this in my field that matter. The recording volume on this camera is better than the B4K5, and it's also a little bigger in size. I don't like that it has a small clip that comes with it. It doesn't make sense that the B4K5 is a smaller camera, yet it comes with a large clip and this M5 is larger, and it comes with a small clip. The small clip works on both cameras but the large clip won't work on the M5. That just doesn't make sense. Overall, I like this body cam and I will keep it and I recommend it to security guards looking for a good quality camera with a long lasting battery.

It works better than I thought it would when I bought it, honestly. It's good for low-light recording with a decent night vision setting, as well as an automatic mode for it to turn on, though it's really simple to swutch it manually. The audio is fairly good, the microphone seems really sensitive; it can hear whispering clearly, but also things that are a little loud for you in the moment are going to be extremely loud in the videos. It's a little bulky and tends to lean forward in its own weight, so it would maybe do better on a mount as a dash-cam if you want it sitting still; otherwise it's a good body camera. It connects to a computer via a USB-C cable, there's no SD card or anything, all internal storage. It can run for about 9-10 consecutive hours before it dies, and only really needs to charge about an hour on a single use. It's also fairly rugged. I haven't tested if it's water resistant, but I've taken it with me across 2,000 miles. It's taken a few drops and bumps along the way and there's not even a scratch on it and everything still works perfectly fine.

The Boblov is easy to use comes preset with dates and times. Until time changes that is lol. But all in all the video, picture, and sound, is amazing. I recommend fully. I use it for my hunting trips to record all the action or in action depending on the day. Sure I will have many other uses for it too. More than likely will use dash cam mode when not recording outdoor adventures. Thank for a Great product. Very affordable. Better than GOPro by far and the battery last for a good amount of time. Almost 15 hours of record time.

PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Bought camera in Jan 2025. Due to health issues unable to use until Sept 2025. Camera worked well, however was not user friendly with regard to how to use, instruction manual not helpful. It worked for about 3 weeks. When I went to charge it after three weeks the green light went on and it seemed to be charging. After waiting 3 hours for light to go off indicating charge I disconnected it from charger and the light went out. Went to turn on, nothing. Tried reset, nothing. Went out and purchased a new charger, nothing. Went to BOBLOV website and sent 2 emails for info. Never received any reply. After 2 days called BOBLOV on phone, left voice mail message. No reply. Thank heaven I had purchased 2 year warranty with ASURION. Within 24 hours I had a return label to take unit to UPS. Got notice within 5 hours that they were sending a credit to me available at my Amazon account. Would not recommend BOBLOV to anyone.

*Edit: device was off for a week and now does not power on. BEWARE. If left unused it apparently just stops working entirely. From 5 stars to 3. Old Review: I am definitely enjoying this bodycam. I work in Security and this is a must have to cover my butt should something go wrong. I appreciate the fact it also can be used as a dash cam. The infrared and flashlight are extremely handy. It's easy to record video, audio, and take photographs. The loop feature is appreciated as I don't have to constantly worry about storage or deleting the videos. Talking about videos, the quality of recording videos and images are pristine. The only downsides are that there is no way (that I know of) to lower the brightness of the screen. Also there is only a battery bar and no way to see the % remaining.

I think "police" body cams have a base line of needs. This camera was great in all that you would expect. Not the glowing 5-stars is due to their customer service. I got an email asking how the camera was, if I had any questions, OK it was probably a form letter. But I responded anyway with a few of my "issues" and suggestions. And they responded immediately. My "issue" was basically a lack of the ability to use my own memory card. I know, the product title said what size memory it came with, but did it register to me that I couldn't add my own expanded memory? Nope. Now this was all on me. But their customer service suggested a different camera and gave me some options. Well I know this was me making my own mistake I didn't feel right about returning the camera and getting a better one. But customer service said it was fine. WOW. So I found the model that was better for me from the same company and ordered it. I am returning the first one and the new one is on the way. Customer service impressed me, they wanted me to have the camera I wanted/needed and was helpful. Probable first time I got 100% satisfaction from a Amazon contact seller link. Bottom line, good product, excellent customer service.
