This is much bigger than the boblov portable mini video camera. This unit however includes the ability to record in the dark with IR lights. It includes two different clips of very high build quality. They are very easy to swap out with a metal clip holding it onto the unit with extreme confidence. I was very impressed with the build quality of this body camera. It will be at home on my pack with my Japanese radio equipment. It's hard and thick plastic, very rugged. The operating system is very simple and gets out the way of operation. It's incredible what you can get for so little. A USB cable and AC adapter is included. The shoulder clip can be rotated 180°. The user manual is very in-depth. There are many different options for playing back files that you have recorded on the device itself. There are LEDs to tell you the status. Whether it is recording or on standby taking photos. Recording audio. Red light flash means video recording, yellow light flash means audio recording, Green means standby and a single red flash is a picture. Another interesting feature is that you can set device IDs for the cameras as well as police IDs. The manual is very in-depth about all the features and it is very easy to follow. There are 10 infrared lights and a 3,000 milliamp hour lithium battery that allows 12 to 13 hours of video recording with the screen and IR off with a full charge. The version I bought includes no SD card and my only complaint is that the hole for the SD card is very deep and I had to use a tool from my multi-tool. This camera works great and the battery lasts a good amount of time. I had the model below this before I got this one and there’s a big difference between the two. This video is clear and the audio is great. It’s easy to use and to transfer the videos to my laptop. It’s pricey but with everything you get it’s worth it. The extra battery really comes in handy. It’s a nice camera to use for biking, hiking or just general use shopping and whatnot. It’s light enough to hang comfortably on my jacket. With my own 128gb capacity drive it get a lot of recordings. Not too bad of a price, but the reason I took a star off is because the sound quality is lacking. Playback sounds ok, but you can’t really hear what other people are saying too well. Functionally this has the video quality of a 3-400 dollar name brand camera from a decade ago. Not quite on par with action cameras available for not much more money, but you can see clearly what's going on and those don't generally have: a flashlight, laser pointer or big ir floodlight for night mode. The still picture quality is not good from a camera snob perspective but perfectly solid for taking post accident evidence pics or proving to your family that you DID see a grizzly. The IR illuminators in night mode are awesome, much brighter than my old early sd-card based camcorder. Excellent value. I'm sure someone pointed this out but worth noting: the laser pointer is split. The closer the body cam is to something in front of it, the closer together the laser beams are. This is either a manufacturing defect or a way to show in video how far away someone is. Either way it serves the second function well. Now you can prove the grizzly WAS only 10 feet away, lol. I got it for dog walking but was excited to see it had a dash cam mode. I have not tried it yet, however based on walking with the camera is has zero image stabilization so make sure your dash mount soaks up bumps well if that's your use case! ... show more

took this boblov body cam with us on vacation to car henge, mt rushmore, rushmore caverns, wind caverns, devils tower, custer national cemetery, and off course YellowStone Park! Video came out sharp, audio was "ok", the infra red night vision was great in the caverns. downloading to laptop and tying the 30min video files was fairly easy. battery life was good as long as you don't use the infra red night vision. i had it clipped to my polo shirt at the second button. people noticed it but paid no mind. the screen does turn off about 60seconds after you set to record. worked great. i recommend this product. ... show more

It’s great that you can purchase this video body camera on Amazon! It records video well and you can easily play it back on the device itself. You can record video or just audio or take photos. It comes with two clips and wall adaptor too. I had some issues with sound from radio not getting picked up as well but seller is very helpful and resolved the issue for us! Also if you plan to put in pocket of pants and walk around with it I don’t think it’ll record audio well- if u plan to put in pocket it’s more meant to be put in a thin pocket of a shirt. ... show more
