    • Brittle plastic, difficult locking mechanism.

It is often difficult to disengage the twist lock to extend or retract the handle. Accidentally dropped the paddle on a cement floor from about 3 or 4 feet once and the tip of the blade shattered. Can most likely be repaired with epoxy, but not sure I can trust this paddle in an emergency.
