We have owned one blunt umbrella for more than ten years and it is still in perfect condition, after Oklahoma wind and rain events. Not too long ago I purchased my second since one of my children wants the first umbrella. Today, Ohio had a downpour and 34 MPH gusts, of course during the time I was walking from work to my car. The wind was so strong it ripped the umbrella from my hand and blew it .25 miles away, across a parking lot. I drove to pick it up, expecting at least some kind of damage from hitting the asphalt so many times; however, it is STILL in perfect condition. We are approaching 11 years of 100% perfect brand recognition. Keep it up, Blunt!

While the product was browse few years ago, but my last umbrella didnt break. Blunt umbrella is about the right size for small umbrella except to sustain the frame, it require more space in your backpack instead of a tote bag. Highly recommended

We live in a very rainy/windy place so decided to invest on a sturdy umbrella. While this is great and withstand strong wind, it is very bulky. Closed it gives the impression to be bigger because of how bulky it is, but once it is open it feel a lot smaller and would only cover 1 person... which is fine, but given how heavy/bulky it is it feels like it would be able to accommodate 2 people under it.

Well-engineered, well-built, somewhat compact, unique, and beautiful umbrella that is definitely on the expensive side. I unfortunately didn't have a chance to try it during actual rain/wind as one flaw that I noticed immediately made me return the item. The flaw was how the umbrella "head" covers the handle when closed. This makes it rather uncomfortable to close from open and awkward to open or carry when trying to hold the handle. The shape is a minor minus as well as when compared to traditional shapes, this meant that the diameter-coverage does not cover as much "circle". Besides that, this umbrella truly is a marvel of engineering as it opens and closes very smoothly. It is also beautiful with the various options of striking colors and its incredibly unique shape.
