  • Good value
Style: BLUETTI AC180
So far so good. I’m impressed with the ease of use and the multiple charging functions. Not too heavy to move around and doesn’t take up much space. Price is about average for this unit. The true test will come during the next power outages this winter and next summer. But I think this unit along with my other off grid backup system will help us get through the power outages. ... show more

  • The best buy for a power generator
Style: BLUETTI AC180
This unit has all the features anyone would need for off grid camping. With 1800 watts of power it will run any household devise you might take for camping like a coffee pot or heat plate. It is also a great home backup unit. Of all the power stations on sale at this time it is the best overall unit for the price. ... show more

  • The right amount of power for the weight
Style: BLUETTI AC180
The quality and weight of this solar power generator were the main reasons for the purchase. NO complaints there. I waited months for it to go on sale, then I bought it... and was so happy. However, several months later, they dropped the price over $150...

  • Nice unit, but limited run time
Style: BLUETTI AC180
The reason this Bluetti is more affordable is because it only has 1152 watt hours. While it’s a nice unit, you won’t get as much run time as you might expect before it needs recharged. The best power station has a watt hour that’s the same or very close to the wattage. In this case, an 1800 watt power station would have about 1800 watt hours. In the last year, it appears a new trend has developed where manufacturers are reducing the watt hours so they can reduce the price. The unit is nice, and it could handle up to 1800 watts, but it has limited watt hours. For example, this unit will run a 43” TV (pulling 40W) for about 18 hours and would then need recharged. So if you apply that to a refrigerator, for example, it would only power your refrigerator for about 10-12 hours, depending on how much wattage that fridge pulls. It’s good to understand what you’re getting, so you’ll know how you can use it in an outage, how often it’ll need recharged, etc. The more watt hours, the longer it’ll run. I like this unit, but I know it will need recharged pretty often in an extended outage. So have a plan for recharging this unit when you won’t have an outlet to plug it into to recharge. ... show more

  • For its level it seems to do its job well
Style: BLUETTI AC180
I’ve had occasion to use this several times since I bought it. Some for testing purposes and also during a multi hour power outage. So far I’m pleased with the AC180 for its quick charging and multi device support. I’ve even purchased a portable solar panel and MC4 cabling, but have not tested those yet. For the intended level of support it seems to do its job well so far, though It has been a learning experience for me. I’d like to have something that could support my devices for a longer period of time, but this unit was just within my current price range. If I had any negative issues to raise is that it can be noisy when charging, and I’ve not been able to get the top charging ‘pad’ to charge anything I’ve placed on top, namely Apple devices. Also the app could use some work to make it a bit more user friendly and aesthetically pleasing. ... show more

  • This Bluetti is my lifesaver!
Style: BLUETTI AC180
We have an off grid cabin. I am on oxygen 24x7 and need to use equipment for various things. This wonder helps me to keep my batteries charged. I love that you can watch over it on a phone app. All the settings are very clear and easy to understand. I highly recommend this unit!

  • Review after 4 week road trip in a camper van
Style: BLUETTI AC180
This is my 1st power station: Bluetti AC180. I got $200 off coupon as bought within 2 weeks of it coming out on market. I absolutely love this unit. I have 400 watts of solar power coming into it. I dry camped along PNW coast for 4 weeks in August. Most often i was back up to 100% after 4-6 hours of sun light. I constantly supply power from my Bluetti to my Bodega dual cooler which I use as a freezer. My 12 volt cooler uses about 28% power during the night hours so in winter will be more of a challenge but during this 65 degree mostly sunny days I still had 72% power left in AM to run my Vitamix 5 min. which takes 3% of power, and I recharged my phone, Bluetooth speakers, USB flashlights and AC powered Tazor in afternoon. I plugged in Insta-pot, a heating element, which takes lots of power... drained it down to 10%. It is small enough to put behind my captain chairs but not with anything plugged in. But the size and weight is great for my needs to move it around. I have extra cord connecting it so I can move from front of van to the back. The only issue I had was laying my I-phone on top to recharge... sometimes it did ok and others times not. Overall, I give this Bluetti unit a 9.5 stars. I'd buy another if needed another power station. ... show more
