Got this for use as a dedicated shower speaker. It sounds really good. After a full charge, I'm on shower 10 ish with no recharge. Easy to pair. Not expensive. There's a bit of audio latency that will obviously only be noticeable if you are watching a video or playing a game and sending the sound to this speaker. For music listening, it's perfect because latency doesn't really matter much in that case. Anyhow, the sound quality is phenomenal, and I use it because I can't stand listening to music from little speakers like my phone. The battery life lasts a while. I use it for white noise while sleeping, and the battery will last all night if I can't have it on the charger while sleeping. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. ... show more

This was my first bluetooth speaker. I thought it would be a good "starting point", and that I'd likely get another speaker at a higher price befor long. I was wrong. This notabrick is amazing. It is proving to be more of a cornerstone than a stepping stone. You gotta try one!

I've gone through a lot of BT speakers. I hope these last: I love the sound for the size! and i got two, as I've always wanted to try stereo pairing. they sound great! I listened to these for a couple of hours today. now I'm back on headphones as everyone goes to sleep. my bucket is full, I'm so satisfied with good sound today. it's unreal to me how much imaging we miss when listening to music through a mono speaker. life is too short for mono! I love smart speakers but virtually ALL of them are mono. my opinion, if you don't regularly enjoy a great set of headphones, higher-end earbuds, or fairly spendy stereo speakers you are missing out on what music can sound like. makes me miss my big receiver and speakers. anyway the size of this speaker is perfect for me. it's not my daily driver: i have a bigger speaker in my office that stays plugged in. this can't quite compete on sound, but then the other speaker/soundbar isn't portable. this one I can put my phone or Chromebook in the bedroom and take a speaker into the bathroom with me. forgot how much I like singing in the shower lol. i don't take it IN the shower but it sits on a cabinet not far from it. i can grab it to adjust the volume or whatever and not worry that getting it wet will hurt it. the battery lasts forever. the Bluetooth has insane range. the light is not terribly exciting, but I do like the little splash of color. bonus points would be awarded if it would sync the light to the other speaker in stereo mode, but it does not. last (for now) but not least, the price/value is fabulous. they don't have the punch that some bigger brands do, but you get a great speaker for A LOT less money. nothing about them feels or sounds cheap. now i see Notabrick has a 40W version also! hmm. I'm intrigued by the review that suggested these need to be broken in. maybe messing with us. but... I may have to try that! is it possible these just get better? ... show more
