Update: A rep reached out and offer to exchange the product - so now I'm happy again. I think it was just a unit with a defective battery. Also not my first Notabrick speaker - I love the first one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B979GR4Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - so I give it to my sister and bought another one. It worked great at first. But then the battery doesn't hold charge very long. Only an hour or so then it died. I had to plug in all the time playing now - so it kinda kill the portability. I can't believe how powerful and clear this sound is. Excellent bass and tone. Was not expecting such excellent quality. Tried this on a flash deal Christmas idea .. bought 3 .. 1 for myself and 2 of my young people .. they love theirs just as much. Great handle too. Perfect for our out door uses also .. boating ... Camping and even for my tablet I use mine for. I love that these float & are shock proff too!!! This is me proff totally.. works nice for our bike as well. My husband keeps using mine .. may have to invest in a 4th. These are exactly what active music lovers need .. I never really recognized this until I decided to buy me something once .. it was a great sale. Yes I would highly recommend this product .. it's been charging fast and with the lights that don't turn off, or I haven't figured out how to yet, you can change the pattern of the lights too, anywho the charge stays good for a long time.. This is an awesome speaker. It's got great sound quality. I bought it for when I'm sewing, so I can hear my music or whatever I'm listening to, over the sound of my sewing machine. I use it all the time now - when I'm working in my home office, doing yardwork, crafting, cooking, etc. It says it can do phone calls, but I haven't tried that yet - I'm a little old fashioned when it comes to phone calls. I like to listen to Iheart radio in the shower - now I can keep the electronics safely away from the water and enjoy my music. I used the speaker with my IPAD to project the sound of movies/tv shows when I'm crafting. It has a cute little carry handle that makes it easy to keep your hands free(r). If I had to critizise one thing, I wish it had a setting where you can keep the speaker colors off...granted I can push the color button 7 times to turn that feature off - but I would be nicer to be able to turn it off and have that stay off. Ok. You don't want to break the bank on a good office speaker, or for a small party, this is a good option. Connectivity was easy, even on my 8yr old iPod. Sound is relatively good, most of my songs are pretty crisp, decent bass, won't "wow" you, but for it's size and price point, it's hard to beat. EQ in your own player might help boost lows and midranges, but otherwise a good overall "party" speaker. Battery life is good, no warning meter on howuch is left, a simple battery indicator would help, but again, this isn't a $100 Bluetooth spkr. Easy to recommend for small office , modest house party , if in a big crowd, it might get drowned out. Overall about 4.5 stars based on quality, which is rather good, sound and output , a long with price. It "punches" above it's weight, so to speak. Or speaker. 😅 ... show more

Often, we have to ask her to turn it down as we can’t hear the television above her speaker. She uses it while she showers and it seems to handle the humidity well, also. A very decent speaker for the price. I saw the video showing difficulties pairing 2 speakers for stereo sound. I'm experiencing the exact same problem, at the same setup stage. When double pressing the LED light, a tone never comes. I've lost count how many times I've tried. DOES ANYONE HAVE A RESOLVE TO THIS ISSUE? UPDATE: March 12, 2023 NOTABRICK reached out to me after my initial review. Their proposed resolve was to replace this pair with a pair of their MusiCan1 40W speakers, which I accepted. I had these paired in less than a minute. The sound...unbelievable for any price range!! These are two little boxes of thunder, and extremely well built. Thank-you to NOTABRICK for your professionalism and understanding of what true customer service looks like.
