These are solid little speakers. They don't feel very substantial, but they are also not expensive so I wasn't expecting high end construction. Overall however, they put on a solid light show and very decent overall sound. I would definitely recommend these for a small get together and for background music. Definitely not enough to hold a small party, but I do use them every time I have small get togethers and need some mood music and before I transition to my bigger speakers. Battery life is really good on these too when you turn off the lights. I've gone at least 3 hours with no problems. I haven't gone the full 8 hours yet.... ... show more

My mom purchased one of these speakers, and she showed me how loud it got in her bedroom. I was thrilled and had to purchase one myself for my apartment. Great sound and volume. Was initially pleased so I purchased a second to use in sync. Day before the second one arrived the first stopped operating. I should have realized that clue. Second one quit operating also. Neither one lasted more than 3 months

DO NOT make the same dumb mistake I did and try to charge these units over standard Type C USB cable to a standard Type C USB charging brick: IT WILL NOT CHARGE THAT WAY!!! You will need a USB Type A charging brick instead. That said: Overall, the speakers are shamefully feature-lacking. CONS: - There is absolutely NO stereo separation between each driver! - Audible hiss on Line-In setting that will not go away! - The EQ settings are not well documented: I had to guess what the settings were - The lighting effects are sadly quite limited! - The design of the speakers are not conducive for mounting to a speaker stand or pole - The onboard controls are a mess and mostly not useful: Same with the remote - No charging brick included (see my opening statement above) - Charging cable ridiculously short PROS: + Decent bass response + Surprisingly broad dynamic range + Long batter life + Durable build However, I cannot give these speakers a lower rating because in my use case, they performed perfectly adequately. ... show more
