Amp blew in my Mercedes and it’s about $1000 to replace - I’m not big on playing music while driving so this seemed like a perfect solution. Put it in the back, plugged it in (so it’s always charging) to the trunk aux - Sounds very good - Imagine if you had the space, one in front and back would sound incredible. Plenty loud and clear (especially in such a small space like a car). These sound far better than the standard $20-30 portable speakers. Very heavy and sturdy. Looks nice, but I did cut off the strap and wrapped it in speaker fabric so you don’t even know it’s there. I think this solution would work well with an iPad setup as well if you want to completely bypass your car audio system. Technically, probably would sound better than most with pairing. ... show more

I've long wanted to buy this one, and bought just about everything else, haha, both above and below the usual price here (including JBL, Bugani, Soundcore, VTIN, and others), but, a price drop finally got me to buy this one, and, all I can say is not to waste your money on every other brand. The favorable reviews of this speaker are legit! I can only imagine how amazing a paired set would be, but, of course the trade off there is more weight and bulk. This is a heavy speaker that takes up a bit of room, and, while that makes it worth the sound it produces, it's always a decision between portability and sound quality and, if I bought two of them, it would not be a pair I'd try to toss in a backpack, lol. Just the single speaker strains portability a bit here. Although, as a pair of fixed speakers, a dual set of these would be a worthy little sound system. At a single speaker, this really hits a sweet spot for still being fairly portable, but definitely being hefty enough to deliver on outstanding sound. While many speakers favor the single rear bass radiator, the dual set up here, one at each end of the speaker, really pumps out the music for a broader sound stage than single radiator brands, like the VTIN R7 (which I own). I had thought the R7 was about as good as one can get, for the price, but this one has cleaner sound, and bigger sound, so it beats the R7. No light show, but that's not as important to me, as sound quality. The Bugani M83, about the same size, offers perhaps a slight bit more finesse in mids and highs, but not as much overall clean volume. It easily bests the Soundcore Motion Plus and gives more power than various JBL's I own. Bass is very satisfying on this model, strong, but not muddled. Reviews almost seemed too good to be true, which is part of what held me back, plus, audio reviews online, well, it's difficult to really hear the quality, when it's recorded and played back, because of the degradation in processing. But, in person, wow, this is the best BT speaker I've bought, in terms of a bigger product that can fill a room. Lots of battery life, a durable build, this is truly the King. Buy it, and enjoy it! :) ... show more

BADAZZ, BODACIOUS SPEAKERS with an audaciously big sound. I love these speakers. I had a very bad experience with two W-9s. After a year and a half of frustration trying to pair (and turn off, and turn on, and and stop from turning off by themselves, and fluctuating volume) I finally took a hammer to them so I wouldn't be tempted to try to get them to pair again, a frustrating experience. They were built like tanks. I mean, I was swinging a hammer from above my head and nothing was happening until I used the claw side of the hammer and still, it was difficult to destroy them. Amazingly, one of them started streaming music from my phone after I'd beaten the crap out of it. The new W-8s are WAYYY more reliable and, as all the other reviewers have written, the sound is BIGG!! These are great-sounding speakers with a lot of clarity, volume and bass for a ridiculously low price compared to its rivals. I DO wish the handle was like the W-9s, but that's a small issue. ... show more

it has great sound quality and good base. it is also extremely loud when you want it to be. battery life is good too. it charges a bit slow though. I don't like the shoulder strap so I bent the metal. rings apart to remove it. no permanent damage to it when you remove it this way.
