The media could not be loaded. My old base tube met its match as hit fell off the ledge, where I found this one, good specs, and I really like the size of it too. Wow, out of the box this one looks and feels like a very well made speaker tube. The base speaker on the end, just moves like crazy to the base and the highs are so crispt too. The vocal on this, for the mids, sounds so life like, I swear that I was in a live performance. Hard to show this one with just pics, so I actually did a video where the BT stayed connected while doing a video, which, no other tube has ever done this before. The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical given this speaker's price and lack of brand recognition, so I also ordered a more expensive Sony SRS-XB23 EXTRA BASS. I compared both speakers and the SONGLOW has much better sound quality. The bass is great - much better than the "EXTRA BASS" Sony speaker. Build quality is great, and the volume dial on top makes it easy to adjust the volume (there are also volume adjustment buttons on the side). AUX and Bluetooth ensure that it will work with all devices.

3/3/2021 Update: After my initial 1 star review, Songlow reached out to me an offered to send me another speaker. After receiving I can confirm my first unit was defective. The new unit doesn't have any of the cracking speaker sound the first one had. I still feel the unit isn't a true 40watts, 77db max on my meter, average 74db. There is more bass on this unit as I expected their would be, but the speaker is more high/mid forward. In the end it's a decent speaker, but there is a lot of competition from great speakers at this price point. I saw many 5 star reviews so I was excited to get the speaker. Pure disappointment after initial charge. Definitely not 40w, my old 12w speaker is louder than this speaker. But the most disappointing thing is the sound quality. Even at 1/4 volume, the driver is already breaking up, and rattling the plastic inside the speaker, the EQ is dead flat, and bass is non existent. Maybe mine was damaged or malfunctioning, but this was the worst sounding speaker I've bought at the $50 price point. Maybe still give it a try, it is possible I just got a bad one, but my personal experience was negative.

This speaker has really good thumping bass radiators to enhance the beat, combined with custom-designed dsp* chip to generate a total 40w of 360° immersive sound. That mean you do not have to point it , sound in a 360° circle of fun, no distortion or lagging with this nice compact speaker. . This all-weatherproof speaker is great for the beach, so we can bring pour new waterproof speaker anywhere down there like the immense pool area or beach. Shopping for a new speaker for myself I fell in love with this one because of the color and its size, I didn’t know what to expect from a smaller speaker, but I'm happy to report that this blew me away. The sound goes very loud while still retaining crispness. This will get a lot of use out in our shop, and it will have no trouble amplifying over the car repair sounds out there. This is a powerful little beast, I look forward to the summer time so the kids can use it while playing in the pool, I also utilize it while taking showers sometimes and it’s holding up very well over the past couple of months.. also paired seamlessly with my Samsung galaxy literally in seconds... extremely happy with this purchase!

For the price it sounds good in my opinion. Highs are not crisp, but sound good (7.5) for the price point. Mids dominate and sound about a (7.5). Bass is a little weak (7) unless you play the music loud. It's about the length of a Pringles can but about 33% wider. Battery life is okay but drains faster than expected when not in use. No regrets for the price.

Great product. Connects fast to devices and does not loose connectivity even when in the other room. Battery life is excellent, and sound quality is crisp. Love portability of the product. Definitely recommend to all my friends. If used outside, it may not be loud enough depending where you are, but then you can get couple of them to enhance surround sound.
