I've been using a wire to connect my phone to the car stereo for a long time now. I used to have a little radio transmitter, but it picked up power noise and was pretty scratchy, so I reverted back to a long wired headphone like connector. I decided to give the electronics a try again and found this reasonably priced Bluetooth receiver. It had most of a full charge when I got it and it easily paired up with my Bluetooth on my phone. The sound is very clear and the battery seems to last a long time. It turns itself off after a time when you disconnect and easily turns back on by holding down the dial like button with the phone symbol on it. I love not having a wire connected to my phone in the car and I can hear my podcasts and music so much better. Its a pretty simple device and seems pretty sturdy, the battery lasts for many hours. I'm enjoying being wire free again.

I really liked this adapter has a lot of functionality the battery lost a lot it is easier to connect and the quality is very good both of the device itself and the audio quality it is very bright so it's easy to see when it's on or off. PD: I CONNECTED IT TO THE PHONES INPUT BUT IT WAS JUST FOR THE PICTURE lol

Sound quality is excellent. Pairs quickly and reliably. Range is ridiculously good. In fact, too good. More on that in a moment. It's compact, I appreciate that it comes with both a cable and a direct plug, and generally works great! Excellent value for the money! However, for my use I wish it either didn't have a battery or it had a switch to automatically turn off when power isn't supplied. I didn't spend long enough when shopping to realize that this isn't the ideal design for my use. I have a car that has bluetooth built-in, but a rear window seal failed and before I discovered that the floor of the car was flooded. Like many vehicles this one has electronic components mounted under the front seats, including some part of the radio system. Normal radio reception sounds fine, and aux input sounds fine, but bluetooth is TERRIBLE now. It cuts out a lot and even when it's working fine the audio is just slightly distorted, so notes (especially anything held more than half a second or so) sound slightly off key. Like so many cars made in the last 10-15 years, the radio is not upgradeable, and the replacement is hundreds of dollars. If I were going to spend that much I would want a real, modern unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. So I bought this to solve the problem, as I only do streaming music and audiobooks/podcasts. The problem is that I have to remember to turn this off when I turn the car off, and that is proving to be hard to remember. The battery lasts a LONG TIME, and the bluetooth range is phenomenal, so when I park in the garage and go inside it stays connected, no matter where I am in the house or yard. If I go far enough away, such as inside a store, and it goes a minute or two without any devices connected, it will power itself off. But it doesn't do that at home, which makes using my phone awkward a little later. I have to go out and turn it off or turn off my bluetooth for a few minutes (only to then have my watch get mad at me for disconnecting). If they had a version that only used USB power with no battery and no power switch function (on when power is coming in), it would be perfect for my use, which would coincide with so many vehicles that didn't come with bluetooth. As it is I can't fully recommend it for that use. Also it has a microphone and supports phone calls, but even with it mounted about as far away as a normal bluetooth mic in a vehicle, people can't understand me when I try to use it for calls. Too bad, as the rest of the audio quality is the best I've ever had for a bluetooth to cable adapter. I found another without a battery and great reviews specifically for car use the way I want it to work, so I'll repurpose this for an old hifi system I haven't used in a while.
