Overall, this down mattress topper is pretty good, but a few things that could be a little improved upon. First the good, I really like that it is real down and feather fill, and a nice breathable cotton shell. It did not feel hot when sleeping the first night, so off to a good start there as well. I also like the box paneling to keep all the filling from piling up at one end. It does add a plush layer to our firm bed which is what we were looking for. It does seem to slightly over hang out kind size bed, might just be a natural consequence of being flattened down and widening. Also, I would prefer it have a fitted skirt to tuck and hold in place around the mattress; our old one had one and it stayed in place very well. I’ve only slept on this one night so far and it hasn’t shifted yet, so perhaps that’s just more of a personal preference of mine, and not really a necessity. Overall, I think the price was reasonable, it came vacuum sealed and packaged decently, the quality seems excellent (the tag matched all the listing info regarding brand name, down and feather fill, and all Cotton shell), so I would recommend this topper. ... show more

The mattress cover is thick, and the quality is top. However, the feathers move around when you sleep on the cover, and you have to shake it out every night, so the feathers can distribute evenly again.

King sized down/feather topper for $66, great value, placed on top of a foam mattress topper. Recommend not pinning (and squashing) the toppers to the bed with a fitted sheet or mattress cover. Instead, recommend putting a mattress cover and fitted sheet on the topper(s) only. Topper has enough weight to stay in place on its own. I do not understand why the manufacturer made this feather bed 4 inches tall, there is enough feather fill for about 1.5 inches, maybe 2 inches. I expected that it would be sad and that I would need to add fill feathers, but this is worse than expected. There is not even as much fill as a duvet/comforter would have, waaaaaaaay less than a bed you lay on needs. ... show more

I bought this for my king size bed that is adjustable, and it does not move around when I raise the top of the bed, it is amazingly comfortable I usually buy memory foam and I will never go back to a memory foam pad after using this feather mattress topper it's so comfortable and the body temperature is regulated much better than with a memory foam topper I would absolutely buy this again and recommend it. ... show more

I am very happy with this purchase. I spent way too much time researching and comparing all of these that are similar on Amazon and went with this one based on price and how soon I'd get it. I love it. First off, came packaged nice vacuumed sealed. Open it up and it starts puffing up. Took a few hours to fully be up. I vigorously shook it and smacked it to help it distribute feathers and puff up. No smell, no feathers poking out. Just pure heaven. Does it make some noise, yes. It is down feathers. Is it a lot of noise or crunching and keeps me up at not, no not at all especially once you put your sheet over it. If you have never had a down comforter or topper and don't know what to expect, maybe you won't like this. Some people prefer the silent soft poof soft cotton. I don't. I love the sound of snow and sleeping in a deep pile of snow on this. It didn't make me sleep hot and so far no issue with going flat but when it does, that's just basic care with these. Just shake it and fluff it back up. Bottom line, if you know and like down/feather, this is amazing. I feel like a million bucks sleeping on it paired with a heavy weight down comforter and percale cotton sheets and a down pillow. No pic or video is gonna help make up your mind. I was there. Just gotta go for it and see for yourself. I highly recommend this. It just plops onto of you mattress and stays in place no prob with sheet over it. I am very happy. ... show more

This thing is amazing. Warm and comfy. But after 1 month it has a hole in it and feathers came out. Will sew it up because it’s too much of a hassle. But other than that, it’s awesome.
