  • Handy & Sharp
I've been enlightened and Tweezerman is my go to brand for bathroom essentials. This item is easy to use in either hand. The cut is crisp, strong and aligned. I've had them for about a year with no concerns.

  • Work Great. Easier to Use than Traditional Nippers.
Daily moisturizing and oiling of my fingertips, cuticles, eponychium, and everything in the general vicinity of my nails has not eliminated all hangnails, so I need to nip them before they tear and make a bloody mess. I've just never been a fan of traditional cuticle nippers, as they are unwieldy and make it difficult to see what I'm doing. So I grabbed these mini nippers from Tweezerman when I saw them. The mini nippers are part of Tweezerman's G.E.A.R. line, which is marketed to men. I'm a woman and I love these. I was afraid to clip anything from my eponychium before, but now I clean that up a bit as these nippers allow for precision control and don't obscure my view. They are made of stainless steel, 2 7/8 inches (7.3cm) long, and work like a tweezer. Squeeze to snip off hangnails or dead skin. The only thing I don't like is that the nippers come with a clear, flexible cap that doesn't fit them well. I wish they had better protection. But these mini "Squeeze & Snip" nippers work better at half the price of a traditional nipper and don't take up much space. I'm pleased with them. ... show more

  • Very sharp and easy to hold.
I got these because Anna Renata of The Salon Life recommended them. They are easy to hold, and she recommends holding them pretty close to the shipper part so you have more control. They are very sharp and work great. I only use them to clip what is commonly called hangnails but is really skin that is mostly detached. I do NOT clip what is commonly called the cuticle but what is really the Proximal Nail Fold. Proximal Nail Fold is the correct anatomical name for the living skin at the back of the nail. This should never be clips. Watch some of The Salón Life’s videos on YouTube for how to care for this guardian barrier and living skin. Oh, and cuticle is actually the dead skin stuck on the nail. It’s often hard to see and impossible to clip off. Anna has great videos on that, too. ... show more

  • Best cuticle nippers
This style of cuticle nipper is the easiest to control and use, in my opinion. The scissor style and the larger squeeze style are awkward to hold and difficult to be precise with. The tweezer style is the way to go! The only thing I don't get is the little plastic piece included with the nippers. I'm assuming it's meant to be a cap but it's not the correct size or shape for that, so I can't be sure. I'm a little surprised that a brand with such quality products wouldn't go the extra mile to make a proper cap or case for these, because the one that comes with them is going to be destroyed in no time due to the fact that it doesn't fit properly at all. Weird. ... show more

  • I am fairly positive i received a counterfeit.
I have the original tweezerman full size tool of this item. The little rubber tip that protects the nipper head is form fitted and fits nicely. This one, is not molded and barely remains on the tool. Since this is directly working with flesh being handled (ie: sanitary needs) and is very sharp. (At least so far. I don’t know how it will hold up over time. The genuine article is over 15 years old i think. The only reason I bought this was i am visiting friends in another state. ) anyhow, i am concerned the blades will get dented or blunted if the cap comes off. And lets face it, with flesh destroying staff infections out there, the less potential contamination the better. All that said, it did the job i needed. It was nicely precise and sharp. (For me a minor blessing since i am dealing with flesh near nerve tender areas) So, 1 star off for the cap not being form fitting. I would almost reduce another star because i paid almost $3 more for this one. :( and its precisely what was being sold for less. Because i am fairly positive this is not from tweezerman) Anyhow, beware, save money :) ... show more

  • BEST THING EVER! NOT JUST FOR MEN!
I absolutely love this little doodad! It's very well made, so the nippers don't dull and refuse to do their job. This is the best for hangnails and cuticle injuries. I wouldn't use them to cut nails (although you could) but it works so well with precise needs! The tip is sharp, so there's a plastic cover for the end. I keep this in my little emergency "mom bag" in my purse - can't tell you how many times I've come to the rescue of someone that keeps catching a painful spot on their finger. Yes, Tweezerman more expensive than other brands (I've not seen anything like this in any other brand) but it is so worth the investment. No, not an employee or stockholder, just a rabid fan. ... show more

  • Dull, Came needing sharpened
I have purchased tweezerman before and they were dangerously sharp. These however were not. They are about as sharp as my older ones. I can get 2 generic ones for the price of this one.

  • Perfect
Perfect cuticle nipper! The small size makes it easy to use, and the blades are sharp.
