  • ensuring its an un-tampered product (a nice touch) but also on the box is a " ...
Color: Black
OK, gonna give a detailed review here, though I normally dont, but these warranted the time to do a review for these headphones for you all :). So, please forgive the length, I'll try an keep it short an simple but covering everything I can ;) First things first, I ordered two of these T2+'s, at the price how could I resist lol, I got my order as ordered, a day early actually( no complaining there lol ) ...headphones came new in factory sealed box ( bluedio has a " do not accept if seal is broken " seal over the seam from where you would open the box, ensuring its an un-tampered product (a nice touch) but also on the box is a " original goods verification " holographic sticker which has a scratch off to reveal a verification code, this is needed for the warranty information and to prove you actually have their product ). Up-on opening the box, there they are, sitting just as pretty as they can be in a nice cradle to hold them in place ... though no plastic bag covering the headphones to protect from dust... not that there was any. Ok, the details your all looking for lol, first thing one does with a new set of headphones is try them out, but so you all are aware, BOTH sets of headphones came STONE DEAD, not even so much as a flicker of the LED light, manual says 1.5 - 2 hours to fully charge ... yeah ok, on what clock, a sundial?? try 5 hours almost 6, but thats the norm to charge a set of bluetooth headphones so, please, dont ask me where Bluedio got that estimate from :/. Once fully charged, I grabbed my cell, turned on Bluetooth, and just about immediately she paired ( maybe 20 seconds, if that ). Perfect, of course I tried em out then an there, but to try an keep conformity here in this review, I want to mention here now that I also successfully paired ( on first try with no problems ) with both my tablet ( Android 4.4 ) and my laptop ( custom laptop running win7 pro in 64 bit, fully updated ... yes that matters lol ) ... anyways ... had no problems with pairing with any of my 3 devices. CONSTRUCTION: yeah ok, Bluedio made improvements to the headband ( was a weak point in previous versions ) but once you get these in your hands your going to see real quick that theres still a weak spot, at the very function that made these headphones what they are ... the rotation. The pin, where the speaker pivots, while large and substantial and made from an alloy, should prove to hold no problem, its threaded into a plastic housing, an that doesnt have much " realestate " of plastic around it to really offer " sufficient " support, in my opinion anyways. It'll hold if handled with care, but dont get rough with em .. fair warning :). Other then that ONE defect, the headphones are well designed and built. Comfortable to wear, doesnt hurt the ears to wear for hours, doesnt weigh much so the headband doesnt beat down on your head after a few short hours of play. Very comfortable to wear, though I should note, after taking them off ... thats when you realise your ears where pressed a lil bit too much too long, but again, you dont feel this with the headphones on, and the surrounds cushion properly and even provide proper seal for optimum sound ( Yeah I know, Im getting to the sound ok lol ). These drivers are HUGE, by far the largest set of bluetooth headphones Ive owned, BUT while diameter this is true, bluedio kept it fairly shallow so to keep a low profile on the head. SOUND: Yeah I know you were waiting for this lol, Before I give my review here, please know I am an audiophile, beyond a love for music, I hear discrepancies and imperfections in music where most wouldnt even notice, even when straining to try an hear it ... First impression of these headphones ... BASS HEAVY, as everyones saying here in reviews, muddy mids, highs are pretty decent though ... BUT do NOT lose hope by that review or by others ... this is what they make EQ's for :D, and luckily for us, MOST devices now-a-days have some form of an EQ in it, if not theres plenty online in your app store. I spent maybe 10 minutes adjusting my EQ to bring out the most from these headphones ( 10 min btw is because again < audiophile an never really happy anyways lol, but also I have a 10 band EQ for my tablet and cellphone with all KINDS of options so thats why 10 min ) So, to recap ... good headphones, just be mindful of the hinge and its weak point, if you want pure bass then no EQ needed, but if you like everything balanced clear and accurate ...an EQ is needed ( oh an BTW, dont waste your time with bluedio's app for these headphones ... if you can find it lol ... From what Im reading on several sites/forums ... the app ( that controls their BUILT IN EQ ) ... literally means INTERNAL BTW ... doesnt even work what so ever. Programmers are even saying they followed instructed letter by letter an even they couldnt get the app to even work ... so Im not even gonna try lol good with PC's, but not that good lol. So, forget their app, use your built in EQ or download a media player that offers an EQ ( highly recommend rocketplayer ... free version gives you 5 bands of EQ but for $5 YOU GET 10. Only other thing to offer on this product is an answer to a question a lot of people are asking ( myself included ) .. WHAT SIZE SD CARD?!?!? Well, Bluedio's websites a joke, so forget about getting any kind of answer for anything there, the manual doesnt even say ... But, after extensive research for several things on these headphones, I found out the headphones WILL accept a 32Gb Micro SD card, according to Bluedio. They made no mention as to what type it would accept in regards to speed though ...Of course, all I have here besides this 8Gb card are 2 - 64Gb Ultra's and these 64Gb Extreme's. Unfortunately,I cant figure out how to get the MP3 function to read the SD card, yet LOL... LED lights up indicating im in SD card mode, but IDK, maybe its not liking the file format. ... show more

  • They are OK, but can be much better after some EQ adjusting, and an AMP for those who desire a serious listening experience.
Color: Black
Just received these a couple days ago, haven't tested all the features (will do so eventually & make updates) so I'll just get straight to the point. Bass: 8.5/10 For $40 (and depending on what you're listening too) Hip Hop, R & B, Rap, ect., bass is decent. Adjust your EQ, and it sounds d@mn good. Throw these on a (decent) Headphone Amp, and they sound MONSTROUS. Treble: 5/10 & Hi's: 3/10 This area needs great improvement. The treble & hi's are not exciting, they're not bright either...they sound very dull. The 125 & 250hz range seems to be overpowered, not by bass though, but of this particular tone that I just cant describe. Playing with the EQ will give them a little life so that you can enjoy them a tad bit more. Clarity: 6/10 The overall sound needs some work. That "tone" that I mentioned above is whats affecting clarity in my opinion. Here's a few examples: Movies: Women dont sound "nice, sweet & soft" like women, they have a bad tone, as if they're butch, studs, etc., almost manly like. Games: Guns dont have that sharp high pitch sound...like reloading should be "click click", and not "clak clak" if that makes sense to any of you. That tone is the area on the eq between bass & treble...thats what it has to much of....and by bringing that area down, will soften the harshness of that tone, and they'll sound better. Mic: 1/10 Mic is just horrible on these. Most ppl on the other end of the call says I sound very low & faint, like Im on speaker phone and standing probably 10 ft away from my phone. Pairing with phone to answer calls is simply POINTLESS, dont do it!. Isolating Sound Leak: 1/10 These can get loud, and they will bleed & leak heavily. Even at low volumes, there is still leakage. Running, jogging or any activity outside is perfectly fine....for those of you who will use these for more quieter settings...well, good luck with that! Comfort: 8/10 Headband is pretty comfy. I have small ears, so they fit inside the ear cups pretty much. The ear cups are pretty soft as well. I've used them for about maybe 4 hrs (in one setting) and have not suffered from any fatigue or ear aches. Cant complain about anything other than they feel & look awkward. They look like they're suppose to be worn in reverse, the Left earcup goes on your right ear & vice versa. So every time I put them on, I have to look first, & make sure Im putting the right earcup on my right ear. But once I adjust the ear cups, they fit perfectly fine. Bluetooth: 8/10 I have not paired with my phone yet, but have mainly been trying to pair them with a bluetooth transceiver I just ordered, and it has been problematic. I have not thoroughly investigated the issue, but I believe its not on the headphones end, its the transceiver. Loudness: 10/10 Due to these having low impedance of only 16ohms, and a MASSIVE 57 inch driver, these are pretty easy to push. Now, because I like LOUD (im the kind of guy who usually buys 4 sets of 12's in a ported speaker box, or 3 sets of 15's...maybe 4 if my trunk allows so because I love the when the bass rattles my whole car and massage my seats) I had to get an amp to give them a little more juice, and when I did, I had all sorts of eargasm's listening to my favorite music, skimming through some of my favorite movies like Avatar, Matrix, and anything else that has some really great explosion scenes. These cans were actually rumbling & vibrating on my ears, it felt so good, I probably replayed each scene about 10 times before I moved on to the next movie. I'll be using these more so for music, and only movies that I have. As far as using them to watch netflix or amazon, I'll pass on that, because I want women to sound like women, and I cant alter the EQ unless I buy an equalizer specifically for that, which Im NOT going to do, well, I dont think so at least. Build Quality: 7.5/10 Build quality actually looks more solid than it actually is. The plastic on the ear cups looks like real metal at first glance. I've read quite a bit of reviews, where ppl are complaining that headband broke, buttons broke, ect., so Im hoping that my set doesn't break any time soon because the buttons do feel flimsy. They're quite light, so thats an additional plus. If these were still selling at $130, I would return them, but since they were only $40, I'll keep them. I haven't tested the SD Card/FM Radio, so I'll update on that when I do test them. CONS: Although these are 4.1, and they have several bluetooth profiles, one of the biggest cons is that these do NOT support Apt-X codec for low latency. Thats really disappointing because that will limit me from attempting to watch anything Im trying to stream from my transceiver out of fear for lag and out of sync issues. I tried to watch avatar that way, and it seemed very slightly out of sync...it may not be noticeable to someone sitting 15 plus feet away from their tv, but I sit within 5 feet of my monitor so its easily noticeable for me. Its not bad where the movie is unwatchable, its just that I notice it, and I'd rather just plug in a stereo cable and watch lag free shows/movies cause that will eventually drive me crazy and take away from my viewing experience. BLUEDIO, if you guys are reading this, PLEASE add Apt-X to the newer T3 version(s). That is the only thing preventing me from buying those, as they are suppose to be an UPGRADE, not an almost identical to the original T2....or at least change the name to T2.5. I dont know how you guys manage to leave Apt-X off of your list. So, overall these sound decent, depending on how you use them. I'll be keeping them & using them until I can acquire something better (have my eyes set on some headphones that have 3 drivers (in each ear), for roughly the same price as these). Oh, the saying is that "when you burn in your headphones, they'll sound much better than out of the box" So I have not factored that in yet, so hopefully I can witness that for myself, and if they do sound better after X amount of hrs, that will be even better. ... show more
