The microphone feels very sturdy and well-made, the adjustable is quite flexible while also not giving any issues at all staying in place. As for the audio quality, the Blue Yeti certainly delivers. That being said, I did notice some occasional background noise and sensitivity to plosives (popping sounds from "p" and "b" sounds), which required some post-processing editing. I bought this model so I could hook it up to my Cannon camera. It worked great! I don't have to sync the sound and video now. I have a Blue Yetti snowball but it doesn't have the connection to hook up to my camera or even a headset. I really couldn't tell that this was renewed. The Renewed mic's condition is far from "Excellent". To start, the mic has obviously taken a hit with its stand damaged inside out and the mic has been also affected seeing the amount of light showing more from one end than the other. For a refurbished mic, it should be labeled as "Good" and priced way less than that. ... show more
