I love this product. I bought the Canary Yellow Sunflower one. It's super soft and absorbent and great for a baby a few months old. Not so good for a newborn that can't hold his head up, unless you lay it on the bathtub floor and lay the baby on it. It fits great in my kitchen sink so I put the it in the sink and just fill up the sink so the water comes up to my baby's tummy and bathe my son that way. He loves baths. It didn't work too well for him as an infant but he's two months old now and although I still hold his head when I'm bathing him, it works better now cause he can sit better than he did for his "first bath". I use it just about every other night. It's also easy to dry. The product tag is really big and is made to be used to hang the flower upside down from the sink faucet so it can dry. It's stitched together very well and super convenient to use/dry. I would definitely recommend this product. ... show more

I read all the customer reviews. Everyone agreed this is adorable and a great shower gift, but many said it was hard to dry out in between uses. Because I remember putting towels in the sink so my son and daughter (who are now 28 and 18) would have a nice soft cushion under and around them when I bathed them in the sink -- I didn't let that bother me. This certainly couldn't be any harder to squeeze out and wash/dry than that was... and it's certainly much softer and more cushy (not to mention beautiful). I bought this for my son and daughter-in-law's baby shower. This was not on their Baby Registry. They requested a baby bath that goes in the tub (which I got) and the little stool with built-in organizer so they can sit next to the tub (which I also got). I don't think the kids think they'll ever bathe the baby in the sink -- how gauche... but every older mom knows they will. Bending over the tub is hard on the back, especially when the baby is tiny. Standing up at the sink is much easier. Having the baby cuddled in these cool 'petals' will make it easier to have hands-free. I can't wait to see everyone's reaction at the shower. This is beautiful. I'll try to post more once we actually get to use it. ... show more

Allow me to preface this review by saying that this is the second 'bath tub' that I purchased for my baby on Amazon. The first was the Safety 1st Deluxe Infant-to-Toddler Tub, White . I was attracted to the price, and neglected to read the reviews. I had nothing but issues with my baby sliding all over in the tub, as the notch designed to keep him propped up was pretty much useless. Once I experienced the problems and inconvenience of constantly having to keep a hand on him to prevent him from fully submerging in the water, I knew that I couldn't keep using that tub. After hours of searching and reading reviews, I took a gamble on this product. Some reviews were great, others not so great... and for the price I was nervous. I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised at how much both my son and I love this product. I love bathing him in the sink, it's super convenient. No bending over, and clean-up is a snap. With the other tub, I had to use it on the floor of my apartment due to space restrictions, and the fact that it was entirely too large to safely place on my sink (to no fault of the product, but still a pain after having a baby) and bath time was always very awkward. The Blooming Bath fits perfectly in my double bowl kitchen sink. My son reclines comfortably on one of the petals while I bathe him. At one month old, he was actually smiling and splashing in the water... an experience he never had in the Safety 1st Deluxe Infant-to-Toddler Tub. I was able to lather him up with both hands, instead of using one hand to wash, and the other to keep him from slipping and sliding. Bath time was a pleasant experience for both of us. Clean up apparently isn't as difficult for me as it has been for some others who have posted reviews. I simply fold in the petals and compress the flower down a few times while it's still in the sink to push the water out. Then I hook a hanger through the hoop in the back and hang it in my shower. After reading some of the negative reviews, I was fully expecting this item to be unbearably heavy, but for me it wasn't an issue. I was able to easily lift it, even after having a C-Section. You can also put it in the spin cycle of your washing machine, then dry it on low heat. I look forward to using it as a cushion in my tub once my baby outgrows the sink. I would give this product 10 stars if I could. Totally worth the price. ... show more

This is a cool product, although I'm not sure that I'd want one if I had a more convenient place to bathe baby. The tub I have to use is difficult to bend over into to bathe a baby, and I was having a surgery I knew would not allow me to do that for some time. So I got this to use in the kitchen sink & it was a breeze. You do have to take it right out of sink & put in the washer (hang dry), so that's an extra you don't have to do with a tub, but again, worked great for my situation. I used from about 6 mo-9 mo. It would work great starting much smaller though, and I'd say you could for sure use it until about when I did (9 mo). (Not sure if it says for newborns, but I'd think it would be great.) Overall, pretty cool invention & helped me out a lot. ... show more

We had originally bought a baby bathtub that you use inside of the regular bath tub...that quickly was placed to the wayside because of having to lean over the tub to use it...way too painful. What with our son being only a month old, giving him a bath in the sink was a much better prospect. I had heard good things about the Blooming Bath, and decided to give it a shot. Thank goodness I did. This thing makes giving the ababy a bath so much easier than trying to do it with towels or just your hands. The petals fit nicely around the sink and keep the baby from knocking his head against the sides. And it keeps him from slipping around because the bottom of the flower stays right where it's supposed to...at the bottom of the sink. It's comfortable for him, and it's way more comfortable for me and my husband as well. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to give their baby a bath and doesn't want to do it over the edge of the tub. It's well made and makes bath time so much easier! ... show more
