The rug is soft, yet seems durable. The backing is nice where it stays in place. Also, the rug rolled out practically wrinkle free and without any rolled up edges; it unfolded flat. I purchased the Bloom Caria Washable Teal/Ivory Geometric 9x12' area rug and it is beautiful! And the price was so right for a rug of this size and quality. What I specifically love: the rug has a subtle, "silvery" shimmer that looks lovely; the design/pattern is fairly neutral but still a bit eclectic and fun, it's very soft on bare feet and looks far more expensive than it was - the fringe on both ends is a very nice touch and adds to the rug's higher quality look. It is flat but I am using a thick 9x12' rug pad (also purchased from Amazon) and it makes a difference. I think this rug will hold up well in our den, which is a high traffic area. We also have several pets who are not very compatible with nice area rugs/carpet, so I am always on the hunt for washable rugs. I have purchased several Ruggables in the last few years but they are getting too expensive for my budget. I like this rug more than any of the Ruggables I own because it's thicker and softer. I hope Bloom adds more patterns similar to this one because I'm not a fan of the other designs offered. If additional designs become available, I will be ready to buy them. I haven't washed the Bloom rug yet and will update my review after I do. If you are thinking about this rug, just go for it. The media could not be loaded. ** 1 YEAR UPDATE ** My biggest feedback is that this rug is not dirt resistant or dirt repellent as I had read in the listing. This rug actually traps dirt like CRAZY. It washed very well and comes out very clean compared to how it goes in. It still looks great after being washed but then it gets abnormally dirty in just about a week and looks like if I had never washed it in the first place. It is not in a high traffic area and we don’t wear shoes on the rug so I don’t get why it sucks in so much filth. It’s still a great rug I just don’t know how to keep it clean for longer than a week because it is literally a dirt magnet. ** FIRST IMPRESSION ** This rug is so beautiful. I was looking for a rug that wasn’t all gray and had some warm tones but was still light and fresh, so the caramel in this rug was everything I was hoping for. The rug lays down flat, the bottom is a rubber nonslip material instead of that stiff bottom that most rugs have. I love that the corners will never stick up and the rug won’t move around. I got the teal/brown/beige one. This rug is perfect and looks so nice in person. I love that it’s washable but looks and feels like a regular rug - it’s not one of those super soft ones that don’t feel like a regular rug. The colors are very neutral, including the teal. Get it!

Yeah, we ordered this rug because we wanted something that was 10 feet long and also washable with muted colors. The rug is super pretty and thick enough that you don’t feel the cold tile but thin enough that you can wash it in the washing machine. We purchased this for a high traffic living room that is int he front entry of our small, old house. We have wood floors and this adds a layer of beautiful, bold and bright protection. It is not thick and fluffy like carpet, but it is practical. We purchased the 9x12 as we needed it to fill almost an entire space. We purchased the blue/charcoal and it is very pretty, not with muted blues and grays like those other popular faded look rugs. This appears to be easy to clean if needed, and easily vacuumed. It has a low enough profile that you can also sweep it with a broom. it is washable yes but at 9x12 its too big for a at home washing machine. look at the photos closely so you can see this is not a thick/lush rug. The 9x12 rug does not fit in a very large washer. Other than that the rug is beautiful! It has held up well with my kids and dogs. It’s a pain to clean any accidents. It is not water proof so every accident you have to sanitize the rug, pull it up and clean the flooring underneath it. It’s a pain in my living room but not as bad in my sunroom, where there is less furniture. My ruggable was waterproof and fit in the washing machine(9x12 size). ... show more
