These block are well made. They are great, not only for router tables, but table saw depth as well for dados, dentil moldings and mortise and tenon joints. Glad I bought them, easier then using a steel ruler for blade depth! Just make sure to measure against the flat tooth if you are using an alternate top bevel blade.

Simply put - This is a beautiful aluminum gauge block set. The machining is impeccable, etching is crisp and clean (makes me feel like I'm using reading glasses when I'm not), The blue anodize - perfect, and they all fit snuggly and look great in the hard foam insert inside a hinged latching plastic case. I've been using them - I really like them for setting depths on my table saw – single blade & dado stack. I haven't used them a lot on the router tables yet; they're nice for setting juice grooves depths for cutting boards and just about any joint you could route (dove tails, box joints, rabbits). I was a little disappointed when I realized that these won't work with any of my raised door panel style & rail bit sets - the center gauge / underneath the bridge - isn't wide enough for the router bits to pass through. I think that opening should be about 1/2" wider. Especially, since those depths are critical when making cabinet doors. I have two router tables - so I should only have to do 1 setup for each bit - but every time I do a set of doors I end up have to do the set up more than once. If you only have 1 router table it can be TeDiOuS. It would be really nice if these gauge blocks accommodated my rail and style bit set (underneath the bridge). I'm not going to knock 'um for that – It is a beautiful set – they are what are – and they do have many – many uses in my wood & my machine shop. I'll say 7 Super Novas for The Blockcision Setup Block Set ~ Thanks for Reading – Have an Incredible Life! ~

This is a really nice set: smoothly machined, beautifully anodized, etched markings (not painted), so many ways to measure each dimension - depending on what's the most convenient for the user, they included a few 16th measures, stackable, and ANGLES included... And they come in a plastic case, nestled in firm foam for protection and ease of access. So why only 4 stars? Only because of the chose of measures - which is to be sure, as good as the competition. And they included the 3/16, 5/16 and 7/16 in a kit based on 1/8th inch, which was thoughtful. It's the missed opportunity in those 5/16 and 7/16 bars: each of those could be easily made from stacking the 3/16 +1/8 and 3/16+1/4. That means the 5/16 and 7/16 bars could have been chosen better: maybe a 1/16 and a a 3/32 ??? Would have made the whole kit so much more versatile.

Additionally, they each have multiple uses for hight and depth applications and for setting angles. I have several different varieties of such blocks, but this kit has earned a primary spot on my router table. They are solidly made of light-weight aluminum and each are marked in several locations. They fit snuggly into the dense foam cut-outs in the plastic case provided and have very easy to spot and read etching (white on blue) displayed when stored. I am very impressed with the quality of these blocks, especially for the price. Great value! PRECISE RATING: Easy decision - 5 (great at doing what I need, several exceptional features/characteristics, definitely buy again) RECOMMENDATION: I highly recommend one or two of these kits for any home shop. Seriously thinking about a second set to keep at a different station so I will always (I figure) be able to find one. (As always, I will report back if there are any durability or performance issues with additional use.) These Blockcision Setup Blocks are a must for woodworkers. If you require ultra precision and you want to make sure that your cuts and grooves are exactly the right depth, then you need to have these. This is a set and comes with 8 height gauge blocks which come in a nice case for easy storage. To use them is super easy, just take the height of the block you want and then put it to your table saw or router and bring the bit or blade up to the edge of the block and it will be exactly the height you want. I use these a lot for cabinet making and other precision cutting and routing. They are amazingly accurate and they are a great build quality. This makes them a fantastic value for the money for how much you pay and what you get. They are anodized aluminum and will last forever.
