It also comes with a handy guide telling you which blocks to stack to get specific measurements. I'd recommend these to anyone doing woodworking.

No need to buy a more expensive set, great for any woodworker, novice and advanced alike. If you're in the market and don't want to spend the money on the more expensive red type of set, these are for you. Build quality is great and after all 1/4 inch is a 1/4 inch ect. And the case is nice for the price.

These blocks are excellent for setting my table saw and my router table for the precision cuts needed for bee space in building and repairing my Honeybee equipment. They are built very sturdy and measurements are very exact, every block marked in 1/32". Blocks can be stacked and I use them to duplicate cuts on boxes I purchased for those I am building. Markings are scribed into the blocks to last and are very easy to see. I love this set and it is well worth what I paid for it.

I don’t know how I completed so many woodworking projects without these handy set up blocks. I find using them to be far more accurate than any sort of tape measurer or rule in many circumstances. Especially as I near 50, seeing exactly how high the table saw blade or router bit has gotten a lot harder, but by placing one of these set up blocks next to the blade or bit allows me to feel exactly how high or how deep I’m about to cut. I find the depth gauge on my planet equally unreadable, and worse yet, subject to parallax errors. I’ve completely given up looking at it now, though. I just take a little off, check against the setup block by feel, and take a little more off. I get accurate results every time. Every time I’m in the shop, I find a new use for them. These are rapidly becoming my most used hand tools. My only regret is that I didn’t buy them a lot sooner. I haven’t checked these with a digital caliper for accuracy, but I haven’t had any noticeable measuring errors since I’ve been using them. As a casual woodworker, they are more than acceptable. They are absolutely worth every penny I paid for them. Because I use them every time I’m in the shop, they’re probably worth more to me than I actually paid.
